The pine room facility was clean and had an excellent view. The tables and chairs were in good, clean condition. We had a large group of 40+ people and it fit all of us very well.

Spent the long weekend in a cabin and enjoyed it very much. The 1 bedroom cabin recently renovated and can sleep 6. If the shower is inside, the cabin would be perfect. It's a very clean and nice state park with activities.

We camped here overnight on a road trip and the campground was very accessible. There was someone at the park office to direct us, but they didn’t collect our information (since we were there after the park office had already closed) so we were marked as no shows for the campground despite stopping in at 8:40am the next morning. I am including this incase it does matter to someone else.We were very impressed with the bathroom and shower facilities. There were multiple showers dispersed throughout the Chipmunk Campground and there was hand soap in the bathrooms. The spaces in the campground did feel very small. And even with only two people, we felt like we were on top of our neighbors. I know everyone’s experience will be different, but we visited on a Saturday night and our neighbors were LOUD and did not respect quiet hours. There was a large group of people partying past midnight and I was surprised that a campground host never asked them to quite quite down.Overall the drive to and from there was beautiful. The roads up to the campsites were all paved and seemed well maintained. There were lots of picnic spaces within the park and there was firewood near the park office. Please be responsible with food storage when visiting, because we didn’t see any garbage bins in the evening and it is bear country.

Chenango Valley State Park has some pretty great trails to check out! The park has landforms from the glaciers, including two kettle lakes. Chenango Valley State Park has a decent amount of wildlife sightings. The colors of the leaves in the fall are absolutely gorgeous! I would recommend checking out the trails if you're in the area.

Chenango Valley State Park is a large NY State Park that offers much to do. The park offers camping, swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, and golfing. You can come in for day use or stay a few nights camping.Over 20 miles of hiking trails are contained in the park. Most of the trails are easy to moderate. They are located by and follow the two lakes in the park. Most of the trails were covered with stone, were wide, and easy to follow. Trail maps are offered on the park's webpage. For fishing you can bring a kayak or canoe onto Chenango Lake. Fish species in the lake are bass, chain pickerel, perch, panfish, and tiger muskie. There are places along the lake to fish.Swimming is also offered at the lake and it seemed to be extremely popular. There are over 200 campsites at the park. Some of the campsites are large. Cabin rentals are also offered. Go to the park's webpage to reserve a spot. The golf course is popular and is very nice. Try to book a tee time ahead of time to get on. Course is not overly difficult, but is fair and challenging. The best part about the park is the variety that it offers. There is something here for everyone.Playground: Many playgrounds located throughout the park.Restrooms: Many restrooms located throughout the park.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome here.Picnic area: Lots of places to picnic here. Grills and picnic benches in many places throughout the park.

We’ve been coming here on the summers. This was our first time camping, camped at the sunrise loop. The sites are huge, most of them very wooded and secluded. Bathroom and park are a short walk from most of the spots. 23, 24, 22, & 25 area.We also did a birthday party since you can use picnic tables to set up for free. They say one per group. The swim area and splash pad are neat. The canoe rental is decently priced. There are trails and fishing too.

Amazing lake for kayaking or canoeing. The beach is small but perfect for family time. Campsites are large, quiet and bathrooms were very well maintained. We enjoyed the spray park as well.Playground: Newly updated, with fun items not at most parks. (Zip slide, rock quarry) basketball corut, swings and two picnic areas.

We went down there for a concert at Endicott golf thingy,, I was not happy about the cabins because I thought they had showers ? but they did not. SO WE DID NOT STAY THE WEEKEND AS PLANNED AND PAYED FOR.. ☹??.. I guess I must of read the description wrong but on the plus side we got to meet some great peeps that own some awesome retro trailers and we have 2 that we are going try to remodel so that was a win win ?..

We did a 3 day(2 nights) camping trip at Chipmunk. The overall experience was great. For the campground, our lot (#70 new/#75 old... yup... confusing) was a little rocky but we managed to have our tent up. For our kids, several well built and maintained playgrounds are around campsites and attractions(beach). Public restrooms are accessible by campsites and attractions. American Grill provides nice choices of food if you get tired of cooking. We (4 grown ups and 3 kids) really enjoyed our time there. We'll be back to explore more. It's regularly patrolled and that makes me safer.Playground: There are multiple playgrounds available by campsites and attractions. The one close to the beach is most fun for our young ones. They are all well built and maintained. There are bigger and smaller structures for bigger kids and toddlers.Restrooms: They were great at the beginning of the day. As more and more people used them, the floor started to look a little muddy. They did the jobs for us at least. I never encountered any restrooms without toilet papers or soap. And they are clean enough for the basics. If a cleaner restroom is needed, try avoiding the campsite ones especially later in the day.Dog-friendliness: Dogs seemed welcome here.Picnic area: Lots of picnic area.
