Spoke to the pharmacist on phone, and she was very unhappy to answer my question with sighs and rudeness. Will be going elsewhere.

Since returning from abroad, I have had many disappointing experiences at a few Buffalo-area Tops locations. As a child and young adult I recalled many of visits to be second to none if not on par with perineal competitors such as Wegmans, however in recent years, Top Friendly Markets consistently has lagged behind by way of price, cleanliness, quality, selection, customer service when matched against local, national and international chains that have entered the Western New York market within the past decade. My frustration with Tops started when first returned to the area May of 2015. I wanted to return bottles and cans for their deposit at the Tops Main and Union location. I had various redeemable container purchased at different Supermarkets throughout the area. I inserted various bottles and cans into the machines which were purchased at several non-Tops stores such as Wegmans. All the ioucans were accepted and credited with the acceptation of a few others - the containers that were once filled with drinks I had purchased at another Tops. Last year, I was shopping for bananas the Tops Maple and Transit location. After I inserted my phone into the front pocket of my shorts, the mobile phone fell to the floor. As I was about to pick up the phone I noticed a working heading in the path where the phone fell a few feet away. The worker, wearing black shirt with a red collar, was dangerously close, so instead instead of reaching down to pick up my phone I told the worker "I dropped my phone" and "watch out." Oblivious to my commands, the worker ran over my phone with the cart, causing two of the four wheels of the cart to knock the flimsy cover of the phone and and cause damage to the screen and stylus. Judging by the colors of the employee's shirt I was certain it was a Tops employee who had damaged my phone. I called Tops customer service explain what had happened but they insisted that they reviewed video of the incident and insisted that it was not a Tops Employee they view in the incident, but a Coca Cola vender and they were not responsible. I had no idea how it would be possible that representative of Cola Cola would be pushing a cart carrying produce into the produce department. She along with other representatives told that a representative of Coca Cola's insurance provider would be in touch with me and warned that I could that I could be responsible for committing fraud. When I got in touch with Coca Cola's insurance representative I was stunned how unprofessional she was. I assumed she had access to the very same video the Tops employees had allegedly viewed and insisted she view it. "Check the video," I said. She then replied "yeah, I'll check the video," with a hint of sarcasm. I said it may not have been a Coca Cola employee because the person maneuvering the cart was wearing a shirt like most Tops employees commonly wear. I then asked what she saw in the video. After asking. She then revealed to me that there was no video and the call ended abruptly thereafter. Following the call, I continued to call Tops' costumer service to inform them what happened , insisting it was Tops and the Coca Cola Company that was responsible for the damage of my mobile phone. To this day, I was compesated by Tops with not even a ten-doller gift certificate. It's really a shame how petty Tops has become.

I usually don't shop at Tops but they had a great deal on sale items. Bonus card plus coupons. Produce not so great. Lots of fruit flies

I'm not really a big Tops person, but this location is convenient and open 24 hours. They also still have plastic bags to collect for garbage can liners, before the new law goes into effect. The store is clean and offers products that you can't find at Wegmans, since they basically only have Wegmans brand items. I like stopping here every once in a while to see what other products name brand items are offering. The prices between Wegmans and Tops are about the same depending on what you get. The employees are friendly.

Friendly staff and great location in the heart of Cheektowaga makes me feel welcome anytime I come here. Stopping by for a quick bite, I notice some items not available at home like Sierra Mist and a few specialities that make a visit here in upstate NY worth it. There's also a Dollar Tree nearby with $1 food specials if you are on a budget so there's something in this plaza for everyone no matter the budget.

This store is the bigger than the store on Harlem. It can get quite busy here, but they do pretty good dealing with the crowds. The prices are on par with the other grocery stores in the area. They have a Citizens Bank and a atm station outside in the huge parking lot, not sure what bank it's with though.

While I am mainly a Wegmans shopper due to their superior selections, Tops tends to have far better daily deals and discounts. They also offer Panera Bread brand products and I just love their soups. Especially their lobster bisque. I frequent the Broadway/Depew and Union Rd/Cheektowaga locations.

Oh Tops, I used to live across the street from here and it's a pretty average grocery store nothing too great, nothing too bad. On the day I visited lines were out of control and there were all of two cashiers on a Saturday morning which is kind of unforgivable. The employees seemed pretty overwhelmed but it isn't their fault when staffing isn't done properly. Despite that, the store seemed to be clean and well stocked and nothing else of interest really happened. Unfortunately, most stores just can't measure up to how good Wegmans is and this is yet another example of how staffing, and a little extra time and care could go a long way towards customer retention.

I don't need much from my local supermarket, all I ask is when you advertise something in your ad and it doesn't ring up correctly you honor it. My son and I drink propel unflavored water, on sale $10 for $10, shelf said $1.59 and water rang up $1.79. Whoever Vicki is told me that only the propel fitness water is included, it's all propel fitness water. Then she tried to tell me that it's only the flavored water, but no where in the ad does it says ONLY INCLUDES FLAVORED WATER VARIETY. Customer service at this store is terrible and I won't be back, again I will be taking the $400+ in groceries that I buy monthly to the Depew, NY location.

Only come here because it's convenient and I must say it is cheaper than Wegmans. Produce section can never measure up and their customer service is like any other place. Nothing notable. What I really want to write about is their meat. I came in for chicken. It was buy 1, get 1. There were only 3 of those types of chicken and the remaining 2 were disgusting. 1 was even open. Gross. I ended up paying $14 for 3 breasts even though I could have gotten 6 for that price. These types of experiences pushes me to shop more at Wegmans for the great customer service and food, even if it is more expensive. Step up your game Tops.

When comparing grocery stores, Wegmans, Trader Joe's and the Lexington Co-op are always going to get a thumbs up from me, and more often than not, I'll give Tops a thumbs down. I only come here for items I can't get elsewhere, or for deals that are just too good to pass up. The store isn't as clean as I would like, and I once encountered a frozen vegetable case that was downright filthy. Wish I'd taken a photo. I've found moldy vegetables on more than one occasion. The recycling area is always a mess. Always. There never seem to be enough small carts in the store, so I've learned to grab one in the parking lot on the way in. The cashiers tend to be slow and sullen, with the exception of one in particular (who I won't name here, as much as I'd like to) who seems to think her customers are interested in knowing her personally and tends to jabber on about herself while scanning your groceries. And I recently witnessed her rant about how much she hates their Monopoly game. OMG, soooo unprofessional! Hardly a month goes by that I don't get overcharged, so if you do shop here, check your receipt. And when you need a rain check (which is way too often), even if you know every detail of the item, they still have to page through the ad and find it for themselves. Would it really be so difficult to keep track of the specials you're out of and be prepared to issue rain checks for them? Displays are constantly being moved. Scavenger hunts can be fun, but I don't enjoy having to go on one looking for the Bridgford pepperoni that last time was right here, but... hmm. Wonder where it is now... Good luck finding someone to ask. And if you do, they won't know anyway. Speaking of moving - whose brilliant idea was it to put the Redbox right in the main entrance thoroughfare???
