Customer service at this branch is notably worse than other Citizens Bank branches.There is never more than one teller working at the counter, even if the line is long. On top of this they will be juggling the drive thru customers as well so this makes even deposits take a minimum of 15 minutes.Additionally they are incredibly stingy on the most things. They will not give any coin rolls to you if you have a business account for some reason. They will also refuse to offer you any change or exchange of bills unless you provide them your card. This is highly inconvenient and even happened to me after I made deposits at the counter.The conveniences of this bank are not outweighing the downsides any longer.

Horrible experience. My mom died a few months ago and had accounts here. I called them to find out what they needed in order for me to handle the accounts. They told me death certificate and a copy of the will listing me as executor. I show up with those items and they tell me oh no that’s not what you need, you need the county form saying you are executor. I left the death certificate there for them to hold in the safe. Three months later when I get the county form I go back with it and find out that 1. What they told me three months ago about needing those forms is wrong that since I’m beneficiary they can just release the accounts to me and 2. They can’t find the death certificate that I left there. I run home to get another copy, disrupting my kids routine and wasting more time. When I come back the banker has to go to another bank to use the fax machine because there’s is down. That took almost an hour. I was there almost another 30 minutes after close waiting for the bank to take the hold off the funds even though the banker got an email confirmation that the main bank received the fax. Meanwhile the bankers are trying to finish their work from the morning and they ask my banker to help them. She does without coming in to say that she’s still waiting and that she’s going to help with the morning work. I’m sitting in her office and no one has come in to tell me what’s going on. I am late for an appointment so I get up to leave. I walk out, the three tellers look at me as I tell them to call me when they figure out what’s going on. My banker apologized and I commented that this has been an aggravating experience. They other two bankers look like they are going to laugh. What a horrible experience.

I've been with this bank and location since it opened. I've never seen a bank operate so slow and poorly as it is presently. Something has to be done soon or I'll yank my funds and do business elsewhere. Don't even deserve 1 star !I agree with some other reviews that say never overly busy great service...but that was 2 years ago !! It's really a inconvenience when it takes up to a half hour to make a simple deposit with only 2 or 3 people ahead of you, and forget the drive thru! I find myself going to Topps more and more. Citizens..fix this !!!

Bank manager Jill T went above and beyond to help me out with a problem I was having with my account. I was expecting to be tied up for an hour in the branch and she had it resolved in five minutes!

I have been a account holder here for quite some time now. I rarely go inside to do business, I mainly just use the ATM. The few times I have had to go inside, the customer service was very good. I like this branch mostly because of the location.

Awful experience. Took $1300 from me, sort of, kind of. I get Social Security every month. It goes into a special account the government sets us up with. Usually my husband goes to Citizens and takes out a certain amount from the ATM inside the bank with my debit card. He then deposits the cash in our Citizens checking account and it is available right away. This week he goes and the ATM is down. The teller tells my husband she can help. She takes the debit card and proceeds in moving the 1,300 from my SSD account to our joint checking. THEN, she realizes the debit card has my name on it and says she cannot finish the transaction. Well, the problem then is she tells my husband my money is now in some banking limbo. It has to go back into my SSD account but it may take 2 - 3 business days. This was yesterday, August 25th. Problems??!! We're screwed. Promised our son a certain sum of money for his wedding reception. We have a mortgage due, utilities due, our dog needs to get her license with the town renewed. We need food. And we're left with a mere $150 or so. There's nothing they can do. Sorry. Why didn't this teller look at the debit card right away? How can they not even try to make this right? It's in my SSD account, but it isn't. That's what the teller said. This is the Cheektowaga branch on Walden. I'd avoid at all costs. I am so mad, sad, and we got so screwed by them.

I love the tellers here. If you need a bank, this bank does most of the bank things you may need. Very seldom a long wait.
