I haven't ran into one person who works there that doesn't go above and beyond.. the staff gets to know you personally and genuinely cares. Well worth the drive! Haven't been disappointed with the food there either.

This is a small town grocery store. It does, however, have a wide selection of items including dairy and frozen. The deli is surprising large and well stocked, The meat department has excellent weekly sales. The store is always clean and orderly and I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. There is ample parking in their own lot and there are handicap spots near the door, It is a level entryway so I would suggest wheelchair accessible. I will be back.

Very helpful staff clean and organized store. The choice of goods for a small store is vast. The pricing is in-line with a small town store. The meat selection seems very large and they will make special orders if requested

This is a nice country supermarket with a decent selection. The fruit and veg is not amazing but the deli is solid as is the meat. The only problem is the old lady with the short hair who works cashier. This woman brings new meaning to the word miserable.

I just called the store to inquire about making a visit with New York State Assemblyman Billy Jones to bless a random employee and make their day. I was speaking with the STORE MANAGER and was being cut off before I could finish what I was saying! Needless to say, the MANAGER does not care about his employees enough for them to receive a blessing from NY Assemblyman and I and was rude to me on the phone. That’s fine, we will bring the money somewhere else and bless them! This store NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT WITH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AS THATS THE MAJORITY OF THE JOB DESCRIPTION! Shame on him!

If traveling route 11 in northern NY near Chateaugay this is an excellent place to get lunch weekdays. The deli makes specials and they are hearty!

I moved to the area 3 years ago. I have only been to the IGA about 5 times.2 times after seeing the produce I turned around and walked out. The IGA is the only local business that I don't really support.
