“Highly recommend. The food and the service at Chappaqua Village Market are top notch. The quality of their meat is evident and the way they prep it for you, including cooking directions and their advice on what marinade/ spices to add, is just priceless. Their homemade cooked foods are beyond delicious and they have so many options to choose from! The customer service here is unmatched, it’s so rare nowadays to experience such a welcoming and helpful staff. They’re simply the best and my family’s favorite one stop shop for all things food. This store is such a gem!”

“My first time at Hemlock Hill Farm was to pick-up a fresh Thanksgiving turkey - which was antibiotic-free, hormone-free, harvested that week. My entire family said it was the best turkey I had ever made - it was juicy, tender, oh-so tasty. But the story doesn't end there. That one decision to go to HHF changed the way I've shopped from then-on. I have since become a loyal customer of HHF - and not just for the next holiday dinner on the calendar (think Christmas beef tenderloin, Easter ham, Labor Day burgers).Whenever I just "stop-in" for 1 item - I leave with fresh eggs, local baguettes, their fabulous breakfast sausages, meat for the week, some veggies, marrow bones for the dog, chicken gizzards for the cats - and always a fresh chicken (for soup or roasting). This spring I bought their vegetable seedlings and hanging flowers baskets. Sign-up for their email blasts - and you'll know what's on sale that particular week.I now belong to their Meat CSA which allows pre-paid membership quarterly. Once monthly, I pick-up my boxed share of freshly-frozen items - beef, lamb, pork, chicken. Not only do CSAs help the farmer - for me, it has exposed us to new cuts of meat and new ways of cooking it. And I always have something in the freezer! My most very recent favorites? Tough to choose. Their kielbasa is fabulous. Crack one of their eggs in a skillet next to one bought in your grocery store - you can actually see the difference. I love their sirloin and beef petite tenders (you can cut both with a butter knife) - but just today I grilled their juicy boneless chicken breasts to top a salad.Hemlock Hill Farm is a great concept, and we are very fortunate they are located in northern Westchester. Family-owned for almost 100 years, animals are all pasture-raised and harvested on-site, it's 120 acres in beautiful Cortlandt. The animals are well taken care of - you can see them in the fields - and they are allowed to grow slowly and freely and just be animals on a farm. Know there is value in shopping here - especially when the items are local, organic, and healthy.Thank you, HHF, for nourishing our body and soul.”
