I went to this wonderful camp in the early 1960s. Great experience and fond memories. It was sleep away for several weeks each summer. I went from ages 8 through 11.I believe that it helped me grow up well rounded.

Was there 60 years ago it was Franciscon brothers catholic camp. Went for 2 summers it was great.

Camp Alvernia is a very special place where children grow to be strong, independent, and kind. Their wide variety of activities are well planned out and enjoyed by all.
