Howllywood Mobile Dog Groomer
9 Arbor Ridge Ln, CentereachI have a 3-year-old cockapoo who absolutely refuses to let me groom him—no matter how patient or sneaky I try to be! I was at my wits’ end when I found Howllywood Groomers, and I’m so glad I did. From the start, booking an appointment was super easy and stress-free.
The mobile groomer was not only professional but genuinely kind and patient with my pup, who can be quite a handful when it comes to grooming. Somehow, he managed to work his magic, and my cockapoo came out looking (and smelling!) amazing. I couldn’t believe how calm and happy he seemed afterward.
It was such a relief to find someone who clearly cares about animals and knows how to handle even the fussiest ones. An absolute pleasure from start to finish—I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Animal Medical Hospital of Centereach
2425 Middle Country Rd Suite 103, CentereachWe thought our Labrador Retriever swallowed an engagement ring. She has a habit of eating things she shouldn’t and East End is always there for us. They were calm and professional (and calmed us down, too.) We found the ring later after the vet assured us it wasn’t inside our dog. The cat had swatted it off the sink counter and it was hidden inside a bag! We appreciate everyone at East End.

Thai Green Lemon
2545 Middle Country Rd unit c, CentereachThis is a cute little Thai place tucked away in a tiny strip mall that doesn't face Middle country Road. We were very pleased with our food. I honestly think this might be our go to place in the future. Even though it's a little bit further from where we live, we find that the place in Nesconset is always ice cold and the one in Smithtown sometimes lacks good service. Our server was extremely pleasant and friendly.

Gong Cha
1759 Middle Country Rd Unit L, CentereachDrinks are so delicious. So many different flavors and varieties, cannot wait to try them all! Store is cute and clean! Only reason I deducted a star is because of the employee that I see there the last few times. Seems like she doesn’t want to be there at all and is not very friendly/happy/productive. They should put a second employee so while she makes the drinks, the other can help the next waiting customer at least. One person is not enough and causes a wait for no reason! Other than that, love this place!

Centereach Deli
1769 Middle Country Rd, CentereachCentereach Deli, cuz, that joint the north side trophy, feel me? Sittin’ right there on the corner, easy pull-up, no stressin’, no need riskin’ yo’ life crossin’ that wild-ass Middle Country Road. Everybody in the hood know that strip be chaos, so if you on the north side, you sittin’ blessed ‘cause this deli got you locked in daily, ya dig?
This ain’t no new hustle neither—been holdin’ it down since back in ’69, family hands keepin’ it pushin’, servin’ the block wit’ love. Slide through them doors and it smack you in the face—bacon snappin’, eggs sizzlin’, coffee bubblin’, whole smell like comfort wrapped in a paper bag. Ain’t no corporate cookie-cutter vibes, nah, this that homestyle grind, real-deal Centereach flavor.
Breakfast here? Straight legendary, nephew. Them egg sammies hittin’ heavy—bacon crispy like a fresh hundred-dollar bill, eggs fluffy like clouds, cheese melted down all drippy, roll warm an’ soft like it just came off grandma’s counter. That Hungry Man Hero? Yo, that a beast—eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, cheese all fightin’ for space on one monster hero, heavy enough to lay a grown man flat. And them home fries? Golden, crunchy, seasoned like somebody auntie out back blessin’ every potato by hand. Ain’t no weak eats here, this a full belly guarantee.
Lunchtime? They still flexin’ on fools. Hot heroes drippin’ wit’ cheese, cold cuts stacked fat like shoebox money, wraps packed tight like a blunt, bread fresh on every move. You unwrap one, and it screamin’ “we feedin’ family, not rationin’ scraps.” That’s love in every bite, homie.
And peep the staff—real cool, real quick, always show respect. Call yo’ order in, and it’s hot an’ steamin’ when you pull up. Walk in, they greet you like kinfolk, treat you like you been down since day one. That hometown energy, nephew, that what make it stick.
Caterin’? They kings at that hustle too. Six-foot heroes runnin’ long as a limo, pasta trays stacked sky-high, salads crisp, whole table look like a banquet. Birthdays, game days, block parties—they keep the squad fed right, portions fat, prices fair, everybody leavin’ satisfied.
The streets already stamped it official. Yelp talkin’ “best egg sammie in the hood,” TripAdvisor droppin’ perfect stars, locals steady praisin’ the food, the flavor, the family vibe. Ain’t no mystery—it’s consistent, it’s proven, it’s Centereach pride, straight up.
Centereach Deli the one, fo’ sho’. North side corner champ, old school love, food hittin’ like G-funk basslines. Five stars, all day every day, no hesitation.

Umami Sushi & Bar
1957 Middle Country Rd, CentereachFrom the moment we walked into Umami Sushi & Bar at 1957 Middle Country Rd in Centereach, we knew we were in for something special. The space strikes that perfect balance: polished yet relaxed, modern without feeling pretentious -- ideal for a date night, a family outing, or just a sushi-craving solo visit. What really stood out was the customer service. The staff greeted us warmly, made sure our drinks were refreshed, and guided us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm (not just rote "what can I get you" service). It's rare to feel this level of attentiveness in a busy sushi spot, and it really set the tone for the evening. Now, onto the sushi -- simply outstanding. Every roll and piece of nigiri felt thoughtfully prepared: the fish tasted fresh, the rice had good texture, the presentation was clean and appealing. The specialty rolls offered fun flavor profiles yet didn't sacrifice sushi integrity. Whether you're a sushi purist or a roll-lover, there's something here to impress. One local reviewer put it succinctly: "The service is very prompt ... The food was delicious. I highly recommend the Miso soup and the Volcano roll." JCS Sushi Bar Chinese +2 Restaurantji +2 For us, the standout moment was when a simple nigiri plate -- beautifully sliced salmon and tuna -- arrived with that delicate, almost buttery texture you hope for. Followed by a roll with a little heat and crunch that hit just the right note. Ambience, too, gets props -- clean lighting, comfortable seating, and the sense that the kitchen cares about what's leaving the pass. If you're looking for a sushi place where service is as good as the food, Umami delivers. Whether you go for a full meal or this place becomes "our go-to", you'll walk away planning your next visit. Highly recommended.
