Playground for kids. No adults. Never in my life. One hour looking at appliances, not one of the 6/7 group of kids hanging out chatting it up literally 6 feet away in visual view the entire time asked to help. How is this store open when top money making products aren't sold. Corporate needs to do secret shopper reviews. They need to fire and rehire all staff. It's gross. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Also had issue many years back when they sold a broken laptop and refused to return within return period, had to spend hours and get corporate involved to resolve basic Customer needs. Stay away folks.

Manager at the door is rude. Told me no one else in the store but him could help me with computer things, they were all helping others. Almost no one was in the store. I went and looked in the area myself, and then proceeded to another area where I looked at some items and then requested to somebody pushing a huge cart around if I could get some help. After about 10 minutes, someone finally came over to help me. After talking to him, I realized they didn't have what I needed and I said I'm going to purchase this at Amazon. When I left the same manager was locking the door already before it was even 8 PM and I had to request for him not to do that so I could leave the store. Every time I go there, there's no one there now. There are numerous employees that seem to be walking around and it's almost impossible to get help. Their return policy is terrible being only 10 days now. I had purchased something online that did not have the actual capability it said it had but I was not ready to return it yet. I'm trying to find another connector to see if I can use it with my computer however, I was not able to find that tonight. I have ordered what I need on Amazon, which will arrive tomorrow. It used to be so much nicer shopping here, a few years back, but things have changed for the worse.

Tom at Best Buy's TV department is an absolute pleasure to work with as I began my hunt for our new living room television. Tom is top notch - extremely knowledgeable, showed me all the options that make sense for my exact situation in my price range, and was very personable. During all the time he dedicated to me, he had other employees coming to him for help and guidance. Great leader. He gave me the best resource to continue my learnings and I will be purchasing my new TV at this Best Buy solely because of Tom's demeanor and expertise. Best Buy is lucky to have him. Walk into Best Buy and ask for him by name.

Be VERY careful... I purchased a 43" Insignia TV. When I got home the box had a used LG TV inside. I immediately returned it to the store. They made me feel like a criminal and refused to accept the return. Dealt with Joey and Randell who was unwilling to help. thankfully i purchased with American Express and they will help rectify the situation.

So disappointed. Dosen't even deserve one star. Anyone who knows me would agree I almost never leave negative reviews but I cannot ignore what happened yesterday on September 26. First know that myself and family have been loyal customers for many years. Contributed many thousands on dollars towards the success of your business. Here's what happened. 3 weeks ago my 80 year mom's telephone stopped working. She thought her cordless phone was the problem but in the mean time she made an appointment with Optimum Cable Company to access the problem. Mom prematurely went to Best Buy and purchased a new cordless phone package costing her $110 plus $. She didn't even open the box! Optimum Rep. Advised her it wasn't her phone that was the problem but the outside wires were corroded. Problem solved the next day . I went to BB to return unopened phone. I was told they have a strict 15 day return policy. Now mind you it's now 20 days later but they wouldn't budge. Manager would not make an exception and issued me a credit. Really? That's the best you can do for an 80 year old loyal customer? Shame on you!!!! To top off the insult on the way exiting BB the man (yeah right, not )at the door, who clearly witnessed the fact that I was not satisfied wished me a wonderful evening. I responded that I didn't appreciate his ignorance. I said look around, nobody is here shopping and your part of the reason why. Cooperate needs to be more flexible with their return policy and appreciate their customers. And staff needs proper training, especially management. You lost me and my family as loyal customers and I will surely spread the word as I'm doing right now! P S. Folks , shop at Walmart!!

Ordered an Open Box Dishwasher on 3/17/22 and I have a receipt with delivery for 3/22/22. Since I didn't hear anything, I called to confirm. The woman stated I had no delivery set up, and the next delivery was 3/29. The store doesn't take calls directly so she would leave a message. Down to the store we go. There was a mix up and the dishwasher was traveling between stores. Weird, because I took a picture of the dishwasher, still on the sale floor. They had my phone # and email address and never contacted me regarding the confusion on their end. The manager we spoke to was not sympathetic or apologetic. We canceled our order and he could care less. No offer of a solution or compensation. We even paid an extra $200 for Customer Service we never received. Now we get home, and receive a phone call confirming our delivery for tomorrow, on a canceled order they confirmed was not be delivered.

I went here for all my appliances. All the sales reps were extremely helpful and friendly. My sales rep Michael was incredibly knowledgeable and geared to help me find all the right appliances personalized to my home and kitchen specifications and measurements. Well done Michael. Extremely satisfied customer here. Thanks Best Buy!

Horrible customer service i spent over 1,000 dollars on a great tv the one i was showed on display looked amazing i waz extremely happy they packed it up and broke it .i un packaged it to see it looked broke not like it did when i was showed it hanging. Brought it rite back only to be treated horribly an with no care or consideration. And given sooo much run around only to be told they can only give one me of less quality then the tv i purchased an basically you can take your money back cause the tv we sold you was a good deal an to good of deal so basically im stuck with a tv i don't like i honestly felt bullied an forced to take what i could get not what i was originally sold ...wish i could give them five thumbs down ...??????????? ..Safe to Say i wint do business with this location if any other best buy ..

Poor customer service the associate is not even located at South Setauket store. Refused to put a manager on the phone. No updated emails regarding status of online pick up. All it says is preparing for pick up.

i purchased a phone for my son under the impression that i would receive a 700$ credit for my trade in.... that was the farthest thing from the truth! verizon and best buy both scammed me out of this money... i have been in touch w verizon and they keep promising that it will be corrected...it has been a terrible experience and i will never shop there again!!!! buyer beware!!!!

I understand that Covid has at times limited the number of employees and merchandise, but to not have even one employee at the counter to cashier is ridiculous. With the amount of people shopping today it really was senseless to think no one would be ready to checkout. So my son who has been inside almost a week due to surgery finally got outside today. At 8 years old the goal was to buy him a new cartoon. At checkout a guy rushing like a mad child decided to cut us in line when finally a cashier showed up. She did not even have the decency to correct the situation. Trust me under any other circumstance I would have but I tried avoid a dramatic New York minute. Unprofessionalism, low stock, no bags of any kind, and odd unpredicatable hours at times. One night it was curbside only a couple weeks ago. Thumbs down!

I really try to support bricks and mortar locations but this is really bad. I paid for a year of Geek Squad and brought one machine in to have the hard drive copied to another laptop. They are the only ones that have ever worked on my other machine. When I got it back they rushed me out and did not let me see where they transferred the data. After dinner I went to log in and the power button was smashed and the laptop with no problem was now ruined. When I brought it back Adam the manager started acting like a prosecuting attorney and told me it was missing screws and that they would not work on it. I was shocked because I still have coverage from them but he said "we don't know what you did to it after you left". This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had and i filed a corporate complaint with now response. BTW- The Chris the Store Mgr could care less as well. Great job guys! PC Richards here i come! Don't use them!

Best Buy hands down has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE in existence. I have bought many products over the years from Best Buy and the will STOP. I cracked my cell phone cover and requested an appointment at the store and they want me to wait 6 DAYS for an appointment!!! Are they INSANE??? I tried speaking to a customer service representative and they do NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. The man was rude and not helpful at all. BUYER BEWARE.....GO to WALMART!! If they are not going out of business....THEY NEED TO!!!
