The review is strictly about the shopping carts and lack of shopping cart policy by corporate. Shopping carts are taken off the premises and left around the community. When store employees are informed, they have no direct mechanism to retrieve the carts from the neighborhoods. This is a failure of Lidl corporate. They must be better neighbors and respect our right to keep our community free from abandoned shopping carts. Lidl corporate must develop a policy for shopping cart retrieval. They are aware of the problem and have done nothing to remedy it.

Hello. What happened to the Lidl in Center Moriches I used to get the warmth of my second home from. This place has gone down in every aspect possible and I can see the doors will not be open much longer if the issues are not corrected. I am a certified peer specialist and specialize in communication issues. I see and evaluate every place I go into. I go into lidl frequently and upon first opening I used to greeted by employees and cashier's like family. They knew me, Greeted me, smiled at me talked to me and treated me like family. I can see all the original cashier's and employees are gone. And the store is in Complete disarray. There is one check out line usually open, which is not enough and with the exception of knowing how to use a cash register the cashier's have absolutely no public relations skills which is as critical as technical skills. Today I received complete arrogance from an employee and I am personally tired of being minimized in a society as a whole that has forgotten how important courtesy and communication is. I can tell you there doors will be Shut soon. This business is in distress and needs alot of support and help. Trust me on this. There is a serious communication and management issue with this store. It's nothing but cold and mechanical. Put the human and the communication back into this store. I can see they are seriously struggling and humans like me are paying for it. I deserve so much better as a paying customer. I also speak for the rest of society reading this. I'm on your side. Thank you for your time.

Fresh produce, good prices, they have self checkout which makes it faster for a quick shopping trip...and this store ACTUALLY has a good cat/dog section. Rather drive from Westhampton to moriches because they have better stuff than go to the lidl in Westhampton

Great place if you don't need name brand stuff. Always very clean and has friendly staff but very very rarely has an actual cashier available
