Usually I had great experiences at this place. Dana is amazing!! Really every time I come they are so skilled, professional, and know exactly how to work with my hair. This time, however, Dana was unavailable to do my hair, so another lady did my hair. I wish I never got it done at all. She kept yanking my hair, using a rough brush and brushing my scalp in a way that hurt, and put the blow dryer on the roots of my hair at such a high setting, to the point I was considering telling her I was all done and ready to leave the way my hair was. She also kept trying to convince me to get my hair styled in a way I did not want. When I left, my hair felt very dry... I was displeased, I know this hair salon could have done better. Next time I come, I will mention I don't want this person to do my hair, being that I now know her name.

They don't take credit cards, only cash or check. While they are certainly within their rights to do this, they should clarify this when taking appointments for first time clients as this is extremely unusual. Then when we gave a 15% tip, they asked for more. Rude and not accommodating.

I went to Harvey’s aka the worst place you can ever ever go to. I told all of them I am getting engaged that night. I was so exited I walk in with nothing on my face it was perfect one hr later I left and saw this on my face I had a panic attack. I went back the next day bc I was so scared they tell me I’m sorry we cannot do anything. You need to go to the doctor ??? The doctor ??? You ruined my face forever. And I will not let that happen. You rather a child color your hair than them. Worst service you can get.

One of the girls came over my mom apt 2 month ago . She did such a bad room did it so fast not caring about how my mom hair look..I never ever.will take her to Harvey's again. I was going to try them out. But ..after seeing what there did to my mom hair . No way I go there

When you come from out of town for a last minute trip it can be stressful to trust a new stylist with your hair. Barbie was fantastic. She listened to what I wanted and also gave some great tips for my hair routine. She really took my hair to the next level! Love it ! Thanks Barbie!

I've been going to Harvey's Place for the past 35 years. I brought my daughter to get her haircut and she looked flawless. What can I say? When you love friendly service and trust your hairstylist, this is the place to go. Yes, a little pricey, but worth it. ♥️

This place looked very professional so I decided to get my highlights done here. I was really looking forward too, however, I was extremely disappointed with my results. Not only were the highlights not evenly distributed, but the stylist put in the color I specifically told her I did not want. The stylist was also pretty rude to me- barely spoke to me, not considerate, and was actually outride rude at times. I spent a lot of money and not one penny was worth it. My appointment was at 2:30pm. I showed up at 2:25 and was sent immediately to wash my hair. I sat down in heathers chair with dripping wet hair from 2:35-2:52. Heather came over at 2:52 and asked me how long I had been sitting there for. I told her about 15 minutes and she said "interesting, why didn't anyone tell me". She then asked what I was supposed to have done and when I told her a cut and blowout she flipped out on me. "I don't have time for that my next appointment comes in at 3!" (8 minutes after she first attended to me). As if it was MY fault she was running behind schedule. She then scolded me for not telling the receptionist when I booked my appointment over a week before called that I needed an hour time slot (again as if I should know how long SHE needed to do my hair). I was shocked and said "is this my fault" in which she replied.... "KINDA, it isn't my fault I can tell you that". I was mortified but wasn't willing to walk out with a soaking wet head, looking back now I should have done just that. She gave me a haircut and a blowout in 23 minutes! I have LONG hair and it should have taken 23 minutes to JUST to cut my hair (which she did in 4 freaking minutes). I was rushed out so quickly I couldn't even speak or complain to the manager. Heather didn't ask me what I thought of my 23 minute haircut and blowout because she simply didn't care! All that being said I'm the idiot that tipped 20% so jokes on me! Safe to say I will NEVER be returning to this salon. I have never been treated so poorly in my life it was disgusting!! Stay away from this salon at all costs!
