Convenient, but one lane was too narrow for most cars, so I had to back up and park, and walk to the machine. ( Saw other people doing the same while I was there )

Nice bank branch. Convenient Sunday hours. Great location with free parking. As an fyi, I use the Capital One Savor card every day to get 4% cash back at restaurants. Use the referral link below to activate a $300 cash back offer. (Copy and paste onto a new browser window.)

Horrible bank. They always have 6 tellers behind the counter but usually only 1 is working. The attitudes of these employees indicate a lack of training.

Horrible Bank to do business with. Informed Manager Melissa at 466 Central Ave. in Cedarhurst today we will be there within the hour. She left without leaving any explanation (??). Her co-worker repeatedly asked me to not report that she had left (???). Not only that, she "had provided inaccurate info pertaining to cashing Savings Bonds - a Manager(??). She stated they can be Notarized. "BUT THEY CAN'T", must have Bank's Seal or Stamp Certifying ID affixed to the Documents to complete the process. In 2006 the Company cooperated with an ILLEGAL Freeze being placed an Account EXEMPT from such action. At this time there was OVER 7,200 Complaints with Better Business Bureau(?????). My Social Security Benefits Account; and adding insult to injury there was irrefutable proof that I owed nothing to Discover Card - no Account existed with my name on it, just my Deceased Spouse not a joint account (??). The matter wound up in the Daily News edition for July 20, 2009. The Judge's Order to release my funds was ignored. It took contacting the President of the Company to have the matter resolved. I have asked my son to close his Account with the bank, but being young and not comfortable about change he won't do it.

I had such a bad experience. I went in to the bank to cash out a work check and this teller. Her name is Stephanie. Made me feel so uncomfortable as if I was a criminal. She asked me if I had an account with Capital One and I told her no. Then I asked her how long will the wait be to open an account today. She told me about 20 minutes, but I told her I couldn't wait and that I would come back another day because I would be getting these checks every week and why keep paying $7 every time to cash them out, right?. I was still going to wait to just cash my check. She then asked if I had another form of I.D. so I gave her my debt card that has my name on it and my driver's license as well. She then walked away to speak to another teller as if she was questioning my name, who I was, and where I worked. Which she was. The other teller must of told her something about doing more research on the check and me etc. Knowing that I was just there the other week cashing out my work check and the teller Stephanie kept running to was the lady that first helped me and didn't give me any problems. Stephanie then came back didn't bother to explain anything to me and what was going on, until I asked her what is the hold up, is there a problem? Stephanie then responded, "I need to call the person from this check to verify that you work there. This is the process we do if you don't have an account with us and I've never seen you before and don't know who you are. Give me a second." and she walked away. She didn't even let me respond that she just disappeared again and had me waiting yet AGAIN. This is unacceptable and ridiculous. The way she approached the situation rather then just talking to me like a human being and asking me any question that she may needed to know. Instead she made me feel like a criminal and as if I was not welcomed to the bank if I didn't have an account with Capital One. I have never felt this way my whole life. I am beyond angry and upset. I was planning to open and account and now I REFUSE to ever have anything to do with Capital One. Ugh It's so disappointing that people treat each other like this and I will not stand for it. After Stephanie was done with the call she went to speak to the other teller again then she came back and cashed my check. As she was getting the money together, she told me the next time I go back I must open an account with them. I understand completely that there will always be a protocol in work environments with any situation, but I know that was not one of them. Any other bank would NOT have made me (the customer) feel unwelcomed and/or put me in that perspective.

Had a very bad experience about two weeks ago, the funny thing is that I used yelp being the fact that I was in the area. I should have gotten his name but he went as far as asking why was I in this area, why do I have an account with MCU, and how I should open the account when I go home online! Needless to say I walked back out with $1,800 cash in my purse and never made a deposit. Avoid the stocky built man with bushy black eyebrows. I honestly don't know why he's working inside of a bank if he can't deal with the public!

Very large and convenient Capital One branch, with private parking and a drive-through in the back, as well as Sunday hours. The inside is clean, large, and generally well-staffed, so your wait on line is rarely going to be overlong. Even better, this branch has Sunday hours, so if your weekdays are packed (or if you're observing Shabbat), you can drop by here to get your banking needs done. Last, and most importantly, the staff themselves are quite friendly and top-notch. If you have a need for bank services beyond the teller window, Frank should be your go-to guy. Friendly, helpful, and will go the extra mile for any of your needs.
