Amazing service! Lynda did my hair treatment and hair cut for me and she’s incredible. She did it so well and so diligently. She listened to my needs attentively and was quick to respond with the right approach that suited my hair! Would highly recommend!

Before even arriving, the place called and asked to push my appointment 15 minutes. No problem, not a big deal. I get there and once they see my hair is long and thick, they immediately start sighing, talking about me in a different language, rolling their eyes, and giving off negativity with their body language. I didn't feel welcomed at all. My appointment was supposed to begin at 11:15, it's now 12:15 and they haven't even started. The cashier tells me they won't honor the promotion because I didn't come in the same day I purchased it, even though they are the one's who told me I can come anytime as long as I scheduled my appointment and gave my credit card details, which I did. When she looked into it, she found that I was right. I asked for layers in the front and back, the back is cut straight across. I asked why there aren't any layers in the back, she said "Honey, your hair is thick! It's there." When I asked another employee if they see any layers in the back because I definitely don't, they remained silent. I asked for medium light brown, my roots are black and the rest of my hair is brown...how does that even happen? I was there for 5 hours, I wasn't offered a single cup of water and you know how hot it gets when they straighten your hair. All in all, horrible experience!!!! They didn't speak to me once, didn't treat me like a human being let alone a customer, and honestly will never go back again. $300 and nothing came out the way I asked, even when providing pictures. Never again.
For reference, I got a haircut, coloring, and diamond botox hair treatment.

I have been going to Hair Bar for several years now. I have my color, cuts, weekly blow outs and annual Keratin treatments there. Everyone working there is kind, professional and talented! I especially love Ariana as she is always concerned about the condition of my hair and goes out of her way to accommodate my crazy schedule. It is my "happy" place!

Jackie was awesome on my first trip to Hair Bar. She walked me through their keratin process and was a great "mom" telling me what I needed to do to keep my hair in great shape, whether it be the after-care they recommend, as well as future color possibilities.

i had a horrible experience at this hair salon, i wanted to speak to the manager but the two times i went there, he wasn't around, i spent $500 dollars just for them to ruined my hair, the first time i did keratin and balayage i spent $437 the lady that did my hair she was not professional at all, she didn't disclose the prices with me or anything not even when i asked her twice, i only went there for the balayage, not for the keratin but this lady insisted i should do keratin! she just ruined my hair didn't accomplish the balayage procedure! And the keratin only lasted a month i went the second time for a single process the same lady ended up messing up my hair she told me she knew what she was doing, if you really love and care for your hair please don't go to this hair salon they are going to damage your hair and take your money that's all they do there! their keratin ! it's not worth it they don't know how to do profesional keratin please don't spend your money and time here !!!

The one star is giving this place too much credit. Avoid at all costs! I've been coming here for keratin treatments over the course of a decade. Last week, I went in for the Silk Touch Pro at their cedarhurst location. This treatment usually causes the hair to lighten. This time, however, I walked out with orange hair (I'm a brunette) that smelt like a dead body and half of my hair was broken. It was so terrible that I had to go to another salon the next day and wash it out and tone it and the entire salon smelt like my hair and the entire staff was horrified and what was done. I called Hair Bar to express my concern but instead of rectifying the situation was told I had to come in for them to look at my hair. I live over an hour away and am not able to go in to that location but was willing to send pictures and videos. Their customer service rep told me that they're a business and have policies in place and that they can't do anything for me if I don't go in. They literally said "if this was your business what would you do". But here's the thing if my staff royally damaged someone's hair who has been coming to me for over a decade and never complained, I would not only issue a refund but do everything in my power to make them happy. Instead this place not only caused irreparable damage to my hair but proved how they don't value customer loyalty. Beyond disgusted. Happy to send anyone photos for proof.
