I don’t know how any post office could possibly be more incompetent. After putting a hold on our mail, the carrier handed personal mail to a contractor working on our former house. Including a birth certificate for my child. This is obviously an identity theft concern as well as just plain irresponsible.attempts to find the missing mail have failed. So happy I don’t live in Catskill anymore.

They have destroyed a couple of my packages due to a change of address. Now I’m expecting a package that was supposed to come 2 days ago and the tracking still says “package acceptance pending”, which it’s been saying for almost a week now. No reason it should take this long to accept and deliver my package. Unbelievable

Apparantly reading a change of address card is far too difficult for this office. Due to them rerouting my mail a week earlier than indicated, I was not able to obtain delivery of a package that was needed for my move. If this had been their first error, I would understand, however, there just seems to be constant mistakes with this office and they could care less.

This is the Catskill Post Office. It's a big old building, built before Stamps.com and Amazon and FedEx, and it looks and feels important. If you're a young'un, and you were born after Stamps.com and Amazon and FedEx, a post office is where you used to have to go to send and receive packages, which you can still do today! Amazing, isn't it? You can also buy stamps, get money orders, apply for a passport, keep a PO box, send in safe and secure mail-in ballots to exercise your right to participate in a free and fair democracy, and more. Personally, I sent a box of old baby clothes to a cousin, and the folks behind the counter were efficient and helpful, and a credit to the fine organization that is the USPS. (No thanks to Postmaster General DeJoy, who we will hopefully see gone shortly.)

My package arrived on Thursday 9am. Said it would be delivered by Monday May 4th. mail driver doesn't come till 5pm. That's 5 whole days just sitting there for no reason and it wasn't even delivered today. Pathetic. You should get more efficient workers. I'd love to work there and get things rolling

Time after time important parcels are never delivered to my address. I have missed opportunities and deadlines due to this place being unable to do something so simple as deliver my mail...to me.

Trying to get through their automated system is like pulling teeth without novacain. You put the tracking number in and they can't seem to find it,SERIOUSLY!!! My package better NOT be sent back. It's sad when You cannot talk to a person anymore. I was born and raised in NY. I left for personal reasons. Now I'm back for 2 1/2 months. Nice welcome. I'm not saying people aren't doing their jobs but communication is vital. Since the introduction of cell phones, communication has hit an all time low.
