Pat and Stephanie are 2 of the nicest people I've met. Their store is a hand tool woodworker's paradise. From planes, chisels, gouges, saws, tool chests and much more, you could easily spend all day inside the place. The enclosed picture is an example of their stuff. This is my private collection and almost all were purchased at the store, including the chest.

I live in UT but every time I’m in NY I make the trip to visit this store. I love it. All old tools in super clean, working condition. If you’re a woodworker and you like using high quality old tools, this place is the best there is.

We were in the marina for one night and walked to town. My husband got exited about the window displays and could not leave without visiting. We got an extension of our checkout time at the marina. My husband walked the mile, was present at opening time of 11am but noone showed to open the store. He waited 30 min but, since neighbors told him that stores in Catskill open when they feel like it, he gave up and returned to the boat deeply disappointed. No way to run a business!

This place is amazing. Tons of vintage hand tools. The owners are wonderful, too.

Incredible store with all sorts of interesting antique tools and an extensive, first rate collections of decoy ducks, both newly crafted and antique, at a wide range of price points. Never seen anything like it! Had a lot of fun visiting and brought a duck home, which I love. Full of character and fantastic value as well.

If you can’t find it here, you either can’t find it anywhere or don’t really need it. Everything from timber framing chisels to violin makers thumb planes. If you need or want antique tools this is your spot. Pat is super knowledgeable, the prices are fair, and the selection is excellent. What more do you want?

This place is chock full of carefully restored vintage tools and other collectibles, including a huge selection of wood molding planes. Even better, the owners, Pat and Stephanie Walsh, are happy to explain what everything is. Pat was also kind enough to quickly sharpen an old ax I was taking to the Adirondacks to chop kindling for a friend.

The gentleman who owns this place, spent a lot of time answering questions and discussing the history of his items, as well as the history of the building and town. The prices are on par for most brick and mortar antique shops and the store is incredibly clean and organized. Great shop and great owner. Well worth spending your time and money there.
