Doing it Right
I first came to RC Lacy to get my 2011 Subaru WRX serviced. It was not tuned right and had not been right since it had its 60k service, ( from another dealership). I brought my car back six times to this former dealership and it was insisted that nothing was wrong. After a blown turbo, replaced by Subaru of America, it still was not right. I brought it in again with the same response. I decided to now bring my car to Lacy where the service team patiently diagnosed the problem, ( software update and tuning the new turbo). I was elated and the car was finally back to what it had been some nine months prior, thanks especially to Matt and Luke. I decided to inquire about the new WRX and was delighted to see that the sales team was as personable as the service team. The whole sales team was involved with the purchase of my new WRX. Robbie Thorpe, Kristen, and Jen were all very personable and helpful. Robbie was very easy to get in contact with questions I had regarding the car and is just a great guy who will do what he can to be helpful. Bobby in finance was able to get me a good interest rate so I was comfortable enough to buy a warranty. RC Lacy may not be the biggest dealership for subies in the area but there customer service, and their techs in the shop are the best that I have ever experienced.

The staff were absolutely wonderful. They helped me when they were already overwhelmed. Their kindness and empathy in a bad situation made it manageable. They didn’t try to upsell me on excess repairs, and were thorough to make sure my vehicle was safe to drive. Was it expensive, yes. But it was worth the price I paid for a repair I can trust. I’m absolutely coming back for other repairs that are dealership specific.
