Called today to get my car towed.. Was told they cant do it, then hung up?....Towing service that can't tow. By the reviews I'm glad I didn't waste my money

Broke down on the Thruway. Took a little while, but driver showed up. Driver was awesome. Got me to their shop and let me hang out while waiting for my wife. The front wheel bearing on my F-350 had failed. I asked them to do both at the same time. Tried to tell me I had a bad upper ball joint. Sent me a video. Looked to me like the nut was loose. Told them same. They disagreed. No worries, I said let it go. When I picked up the truck, I pulled the cotter pin, put a socket on the the nut and tightened it up. (Left loose by Owner at Santoni's garage in Collegeville Pa. when fixing alignment his "tech" screwed up) Just came in from lubing the front end on my truck. Felt something by the passengers lower ball joint. Got it out and found out it was the nut from the upper right stud where Gallagher's had replaced the bearing. This is why I do all my own work whenever possible. Also poor communication about status of truck and picking up. If you use Gallagher's just check their work yourself I guess!

Gallagher's Garage is amazing! I did not use their mechanic shop, so I can't comment on that, but their tow service was the best I have ever come across!I ran into mechanical trouble on my way home to NJ from Hudson, NY. It was 19 degrees out and I had to get home, so I decided to just pay the tow overages through my insurance company. Gallagher's was the top tow company in the area according to USAA, and I now know why. I planned to just leave the car, but Joshua showed up in less than 45 minutes.He clearly has been doing this for a while. He was super professional and was very knowledgeable. He loaded my car up with no problems for a 2 hour long haul ride. About 30 minutes after I got home in northern NJ my car was here. He unloaded the car in the driveway, and parked it perfectly so I could deal with my car at a later date.If I did not immediately have to get home I probably would have tried out their mechanical shop. If I ever need another random tow or mechanical work in that area, they will be my first call! I really cannot express just how fortunate I was to get a driver like Joshua. Thank you Joshua and Gallagher's Garage for making a very stressful and intense situation a breeze! A+

They are very easy to work with and work was done very well. I'll be going back for additional work to be done and I wouldn't if their work was not excellent. 5 stars

I have had my car towed more than once in my life sadly and I can say this is the best experience I have ever had. The driver was very prompt in getting to me, loading my vehicle and even had drinks available to help in the hot heat! I wish I could call them no matter where I am for future tows!

I live in Schenectady and commute to teach at Catskill Elementary School. I was driving in and about three miles from exit 21 on I-87 when my front tire blew out. John from Gallagher’s Garage came out as the local AAA tow. He was so nice and towed my car to Mavis Tire where he went in and asked if they had my size tire in stock. They did and John even dropped me off at the school so I could teach while my tire was being changed. He was super nice and helpful. I was grateful for the tow and ride to work!Thank you John, Gallagher’s Garage, and Mavis Tire for taking great care of me and my car.Yvonne

I got a flat on the NYS Thruway, Liam from Galleghers came out, flat bedded me to a local Mavis Tire. Such a nice guy, friendly and professional! Thank you Liam and Gallegher's Garage!

Not only did I receive a tow but I had a guy who brought me to Advanced Auto. All he had to do was leave me there but he went beyond the call of duty knowing that I was 2 hours away from my house. Got engine light off on my old truck couple years ago thought they would be able to fix ac in my new truck told me they would be able to pick up and fix for me first time didn't pick up said they got busy next week were supposed to take care of it never called me when I called them they said computer on there ac machine broken still haven't heard from them

Wonderful experience in an otherwise miserable situation. Not only did Gallagher’s tow our vehicle to CA Albright for repairs (another great experience), the tow truck driver dropped us off at a hotel on the way. Amazing customer service and warm, friendly, caring drivers. Highly recommend!
