When we needed tax assistance some 9 years ago, we sought out Pat in the Rotterdam office, we used her for 3 tax seasons until she retired. Then we traveled to Sarasota Springs using Tom for another 3 seasons, and now have been with the Tom and Paulette at the East Schodack office for now 3 more years. We could write paragraphs about the wonderful, caring, and quality of services we have received. This Compan, to us, is without a doubt, fantastic. Year after year they have delivered us Peace of Mind Guaranteed. Our 2022 are complete, and in our hands 2/2/2023. Thank you Tom, your respect and caring is so appreciated. Tom and his staff have for years been very kind, courteous, and thorough when doing our taxes.We look forward to the post Covid era when we again see the staff face to face. I paid my fee as discussed and not service was rendered, upon asking to be refunded, they have ignored every email and phone calls. Really unprofessional company

I have used these accountants for the past 3 or 4 years. Anyone who has asked me for a recommendation for a good accountant I have referred here. I have had no issues up until this year. I always go in early as I like to get everything out of the way. This year I went in the first week of February. I was told since I changed from a DBA to an SCorp (at the advice of these accountants) that the taxes would take a bit longer to do than in the time we had scheduled (60min). I said that was fine and left. I have been calling them about every week since. My taxes are still not done and it is April 15th. I have been told by the receptionist that the owner Tom had filed an extension for my business taxes and that my personal taxes can't be complete until those are done. I understand this were more complicated and I would completely understand if there was some more communication about this but no one will return my phone calls/emails etc. This is completely unacceptable.

My taxes were very difficult for 2017. Owlview tackled all my tax issues and wrestled them all into submission and put an end to them at half of what I have paid in the past. They are stuck with me now for years to come.

I went to Owlview Accounting (Accutax) for a number of years when my taxes became too complicated to do myself. I think Tom Kubiak and his staff were friendly, helpful and their prices were very fair. I even brought in 2 new customers. So why am I ranking them at 1 star? Because they abandoned me when faced with the toughest part of thier job. I got audited by the Fed IRS for one of the years that he filed for me. At first Tom was very helpful during the process. As per the request of the IRS, he was the point of contact... They spoke to him and he relayed to me what they needed. All was quiet for over 2 months and I thought things were wrapping up until I got a letter in the mail stating that my accountant had broken off all contact and refused to call them back!!?! I reached out twice myself and I also could no longer reach Tom who in the past was always VERY accessible. I was forced to complete the audit on my own with no counsel. This is not the way to do business. IF you get audited this is where you need your tax people the most and I was abandoned. I can not recommend them... never again.
