“I couldn't tell what they sold from the outside but when I went and I saw a shea butter and other hair products and then they had food some fresh vegetables lots of green stuff I don't know what kind didn't get a chance to look at it all and they had canned goods and dry goods. I didn't recognize a lot of things so I have to come prepared next time I go. The one thing I didn't like is I felt like I could smell them moth balls.”

“As I was self checking out my groceries on Saturday, my blood pressure was low before I shopped, and I suddenly felt hot, dizzy and was close to passing out. The room was spinning and I called to the person that works there and she discreetly came to help me. If not for her help, it could have ended much different. I asked her name and it's Coral. “The only reason it got four stars was because the sweet African bread I bought had mold on the bottom and was unusable and not noticeable until I got home. The only suggestion I would have is that bread products are inspected daily for mold”

“Great store to have in the neighborhood. I usually get frozen foods here like veggie burgers. It's convenient to pick up nut milk, eggs, cheese and other things you may need. I usually add something new to my purchase each time because there are a lot of interesting things to try. I have bought medicinal herbal teas, saffron, no-sugar chocolate, mushroom miso soup among other unusual things. Prices are very reasonable especially compared to the local healthfood co-op.”
“I like this grocery. They’ve got good frozen dishes, for eating later. I’ve yet to taste the food fresh from the kitchen. If it tastes like the “frozen-eat-later” items, I know it will be worth the money. I hope they’re able to grow and stick around. It’s a better use of the building than the old McD’s.”

“Can’t speak on the atmosphere as I ordered for delivery but it did show up 45 minutes faster than Mealeo told me it would which is good because waiting an hour and a half for delivery from down the road is absurd. Ordered pineapple fried rice and chicken stir fry and potstickers. The food was great. No complaints. Will order from here again.”

“Awesome store its my go to since I live the next town over. Kevin and his wide are such nice people. Kevin made sure I could get Aunt Sue's Raw Honey to help with my allergies. My cat is very fussy they always seem to have his cat food when the big stores don't as well as cat litter. The store is always clean and organized! “For those wondering why they will occasionally get weird smells when walking around the Meat or Beer section, you can blame the people who ran the building before it became Hannaford. The plumbing in the building occasionally has problems which leads to a weird smell, but from every employee I’ve talked to this is by far one of the cleanest Hannaford’s in the capital region. The various plumbing and other issues is also why they decided to remove the fresh seafood case.”

“I like coming here for good prices on beer and other neat drinks normally not found elsewhere. The two gentlemen that work here are both very nice. I come back to their store often simply because how genuine they are. That and you can't beat a $2 dollar white claw 8% ABV can either haha.”
“I live within walking distance of the Glenmont Price Chopper. It would be convenient if not for the stressful and disappointing shopping experience I consistently experience there. I find myself mentally preparing to coddle the deli staff to please cut cold cuts thin or to ask the meat department staff if they have something that I am looking for that doesn’t have a use by date that is the same as the day I am buying it. They make it clear that they are put out by anything that isn’t grab and go. The only exception is the produce staff. They have always been great but the quality of the produce is usually pretty poor.
The Delmar Hannaford experience is a luxury. Fresh meat and vegetables, personable, helpful staff and the deli counter is amazing!!! No 10-20 minute waits as the only customer at the PC counter while the employee moves at a pace that could only be intended to discourage you from asking for an additional thing. Every single time Hannaford’s staff is friendly, accommodating and professional. Hannaford does it right and their employees are always a pleasure!”
“This new location is an improvement over their former location. Prices are pantry items are incredible. Produce items are less but be careful. Bananas are usually with brown spots, grapes are often out of stock. Meat is another item I avoid. 93% lean ground beef cooked down about 25%. Don't forget to bring a refundable quarter for the shopping cart. The store isn't kept up the same way as most supermarkets. Empty boxes remain on the shelf and you may need to remove empty boxes out of you way. Items on the shelves aren't faced making your search a bit more challenging. This seems to be a cross between the wholesale clubs like Costco mixed in with a dollar store. If you are on a tight budget this is a great place to shop.”
“Fun little corner store with anything you need in a pinch. Owner friendly, and certainly had plenty of beer avaliable if that's your thing. A touch disorganized, but kinda adds to the charm. They also have Calypso lemonade and thats my favorite! Can't believe more places don't have it in stock.”
“Huge selection. Like another reviewer said, the bulk bins are spectacular. They are a throwback to old markets where you would buy your beans and grains and other dry goods out of big containers. Something I used to see occasionally as a child. I bought navy beans here, which I actually had a hard time finding in my local supermarkets. They have a bunch of nifty sections if you want to make your own... Well pretty much anything. There's yeast and kombucha and all kinds of raw and fermented stuff. Huge selection in a small store Now the bad part: if you were looking to spend $200 on groceries that you can carry out in one hand, this is certainly your place, you will have no problem doing that, and a huge selection to choose from. It seems like most of the food quality is a cut above, especially for cheeses and specialty items. However, I can't imagine people shopping here for their daily needs We had a lovely cashier named Val, I am sure we could be good friends! She asked me if we were members of the co-op, and when I asked her what was involved with that, it was a $100 yearly fee and a three hour orientation to become a member. I really admire the people who are committed to such things, but it's just a bit much for me. Happy to go there sometimes to get some specialty items though. One more thing: quite nice and interesting plant selection. Surprising in a little market, but they had all sorts of little cactus and succulents and other plans, really nice little stuff.”

“I love this place, I went to get some dried fish and they had it, but I ended up buying more than what I went to get lol. Due to the customer service, and on another occasion, they were not open and I eventually saw the owner and I signal to him I need to get an outfit, and he sent his wife to come and attend to me. I couldn't believe it lol .if most businesses will not care how hard I knocked the door, they will shout we are closed lol. But they didn't. Alhamduliah for such service!”
“The funny thing about Dollar general is they really do have everything. I'm always shocked about what you find there a pretty reasonable prices. there isn't one near me so whenever I'm driving by one I pull in and take a look and see what they have. they have everything snacks, candies, car, phone chargers, plastic bags, storage containers. The staff at this location was very friendly and willing to help check prices on a couple of things that I couldn't see. I was 'generally' very pleased.”

“I camp in the area about 6 times a year. This is our "go to" place. They have the best Boar's Head meats & cheese. Their potatoe and macaroni salads are awesome....taste just like my homemade ones. Great ice cream too! The products in the grocery sections are top of the line. Sometimes the service is a bit slow but we ALL KNOW everyplace is short staffed soooo let's just smile and be patient.....ya know " walk a mile in their shoes" ?”
