Loved it! Needed a good value hotel fast. This far exceeded expectations. It has a full pool and one of the best-stocked fitness centers of any hotel of similar price. It's continental breakfast was stocked and well-arranged. Clean rooms and safe.

Very nice place to stay, whether if it’s just for a night or two or a week or two. The staff is friendly. Check-in and out is very quick and simple. The rooms are plenty spacious, comfy beds, all the good TV channels, and plenty of storage. The free breakfast is delicious and has a nice selection - buttermilk and chocolate waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage links, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, muffins, toast, yogurt, fresh fruit, orange, apple, and cranberry juice, tea, and pretty good coffee for a hotel chain. If I had one complaint it would be the location of the room I received. It was right outside the breakfast area so I was woken up a couple hours earlier than I wanted to because the staff was preparing the breakfast area then early bird lodgers were up making their breakfast and it was rather noisy. Not the best design having a room right outside the busiest area of the hotel during breakfast hours.Nearby activities: Plenty of shopping, eateries and entertainment within 10-15 minutes of the hotel. It’s also about an 8-10 minute drive to the Albany-Rensselaer Amtrak station. You can get to downtown Albany in less than 20 minutes.

I posted about this location once before, and I can't say enough good things about it. Better service and a better room that I paid twice the amount for at a Hilton. They even give you a full breakfast to start your day off. Hat's off to your Comfort Inn. Great job keep up the good work.

After a horrible Air B&B experience, I booked this hotel for a work trip. I loved being able to check-in from my phone since I would be arriving after midnight. Took less than a minute to get my keys and get up to my room. Room was clean, hotel was quiet. The thermostat was a little glitchy not staying at my preferred temperature & fan speed-still comfortable enough to sleep. Hotel was easy to locate in a safe location. Would stay again if back in the area.

Perfect place for quick overnight stay when you are headed to the East Coast via I 90. Place has obviously been "refreshed" from older hotel, as there were obvious signs of previous water leaks in our 1st floor room ceiling. Somewhat outdated but hey, just needed a quick stop. Easy on and off from I 90. There is continental breakfast.

East Greenbush is my home town and I attended my class reunion. Comfort Inn Suites was outstanding! The location is perfect! There is a gas station, Stewart’s, and Dunkin Donuts right next door. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great and starts at 6:00 am. The staff are so friendly and competent! I had a very pleasant stay and I will definitely come back. Thank you for everything and especially for letting me check in early.

Checking-in was easy, room was clean, comfy & nice. Hallways at night was quiet given my room was adjacent to the ice maker. Just one thing I can complain about, in room microwave was dirty. Breakfast did what is was suppose to and if your not happy there is a dunkin donut attached to a gas station next door.

First was booking a room. I called because we needed 1 night for a wedding happening there and the person said oh there’s no more blocked rooms but I also went on the website and that said rooms were available so I mentioned that and she was like well we have rooms just not blocked rooms but I can give you an unblocked room. Had I not looked online I may have thought all rooms were booked and tried to stay elsewhere communication was not clear. Then she told me it would be over $200 but I again referred to the website that has a lower prepaid rate and she said oh well I can give you that rate if you want. Why not tell me all rates available and let me pick? Another wedding guest had a similar issue they saw rooms available online two days prior to the wedding but called and the person actually said you’d have to call after 11p because I can’t see and don’t know what would be available. How do you not know what’s available at your own hotel? Booking aside you would have to pay more for an early or late check in. This used to be a just a nice thing the hotel would do based on availability. That also aside we get to our room and our sheets had blood on them in quite a few spots top and bottom sheet. We didn’t check in until 10 pm so they had please of time to ensure we had a clean room. We called and the person at the desk said oh I can’t leave the front desk but you can come down and get clean ones. No apology that we were given filthy sheets and then said to my husband what size sheets do you need is it a king? You should have a list at the front desk with what size beds are in what room. Also he had no apologies when he got there in person to grab new sheets. The bathroom could use a little work in that room as well peeling wall paper and grout that needs to be replaced. Staff was also confused with multiple weddings happening about which events for which guests. This was a pricey staff for one night compared to many others and I’ve stayed cheaper places with much better service. Staff needs more training and clear communication about what’s happening but especially customer service training. Wouldn’t stay again unless it was my only option. Bloody sheets is unacceptable and staff not knowing if rooms are even available and not providing all options up front is just bad business. We just need an adequate room and stay and aren’t looking for a five star experience from a basic level hotel chain but too many basic needs weren’t even met. Wi- if also didn’t work at all during our stay.
