This was a breathtaking park. From the point of entry up to the falls there is at least 3 gorgeous top view points to stop by. Lost internet access once we entered the park premises but the area is nicely marked with big signs it’s difficult to get lost. There is a lot of walking so wear comfy shoes with good drip because there are some slippery steps for sure. Restrooms are very clean. Can’t wait to visit again.

Best spot for hiking, sight seeing. It is beautiful. Dog friendly.
Toilets: Working
Dog-friendliness: Other dogs there. My dog loved it.
Picnic area: Lots of picnic tables and open space for blankets.

so so so gorgeous. I try and go at least once a year. my tip would be to go during the work week to avoid crowds. I went on a Monday in November and had a lot of spots to myself.

Very pretty and it’s mostly easy walks. All of the falls are stunning as is Inspiration Point. The only difficult portion was getting to the lower falls so those with limited mobility should likely avoid going down the steps to that area.
Playground: Had some near lower falls.
Toilets: Good availability of restrooms and clean.
Picnic area: Pretty good picnics spots through the park.

We always enjoy walking through Letchworth State park. It’s beautiful, especially in the fall when the leaves are all changing colors. The waterfalls are gorgeous too!

Grand canyon of the East, voted #1 state park in the nation. 3 large waterfalls, deep gorge, miles of hiking trails, cabins,camping, picnic areas.

Beautiful park. So many trails and beautiful scenery. Very walkable for all levels.
Toilets: Clean restrooms
Dog-friendliness: Saw many people and their pets enjoying their walks!
Picnic area: Many places throughout the park to sit and have a picnic

Such a beautiful place with many trails. Definitely take the time to explore the less touristy side with all the trails! Also a nice campground.
Toilets: There are multiple restrooms throughout the park some older and some recently redone.
Dog-friendliness: Lots of nice walking and hiking where dogs are allowed Just please keep them on leash.
Picnic area: There are several picnic areas that are very nice.

Best place to visit in the upper state of New York. I must say visit according to the fall foliage tracker so.you can see red leaves.
Best time to visit : sunrise ?
There are a bunch of parking spots available throughout the park and you can even visit all the points through your car as well.

Toilets: Restroom available at a certain point.
Picnic area: Yes
