There is a main reason I stopped shopping here. The employees are unkempt, The managers are unprofessional, and too many past stories from previous workers who left because they were fed up with the lies the establishment did. One of them was a baker, and they kept blaming her for not being able to finish a deadline and compared her to someone who was there for 5 years. And another was someone on the floor being bullied for being slow. And the donation person is rude. I’ll stick to Stop and Shop. Do not recommend

This store is becoming very disgusting. I don’t understand how management does not have standards for their employees for basic things like cleanliness, or how to behave when handling food. The last 2 times I’ve been there I’ve witnessed very unkempt, dirty appearing employees working directly with food in the deli/prepared food area touching their face, hair, scratching their nose and ears then going back to touching food. I’ve also walked by employees that have noticeable strong body odor. My cashier today was picking his nose and picking a scab on his arm while he was waiting for me to load my groceries onto the conveyor belt.
Based on the how some of the employees act and appear when they are facing customers, it’s difficult for me to trust how they handle the food when no one is looking. It’s also difficult for me to trust a store whose management allows for such low hygiene standards for their employees. I no longer feel comfortable shopping at this location.

I really appreciated your employees hanging out by the ice cream yesterday around 5:30pm ,bad mouthing about customers asking them questions and not knowing their way around your supermarket. Poor guys, I hope the stress doesn't give them ptsd.

I’m usually very lazy to leave reviews good or bad. But the lady collecting donations today for the Veteran didn’t like that I didn’t want to leave any donation and sometimes give you a not so nice look if you don’t. I go every single day food shopping and sometimes do the donation at the cashier or may husband does it. which they don’t see that sometimes. So not sure if they spect costumer to donate every single time they visit the store.

The store as a whole is pretty well stocked and most of the employees are friendly and professional. I recently needed the help of the store Manager Bob Gillick regarding a refund correction. To make a long story short, he was very dismissive when I was explaining the situation. I made a recommendation on how to remedy the problem but he did not want to hear anything I had to say. It almost seems like he was very upset that I discovered the error. I don't know why he took it so personal but bottom line he was rude, condescending and dismissive in our interaction. This conduct is unacceptable and unprofessional for a store manager.

I have already left a review on their website, because a worker here at self checkout yelled at me for asking a question about why the checkout wasn’t working and she screamed haven’t you ever used one before?! Like yeah it’s been a long day of being abused by people at my job and I was just running into here for one item and I didn’t want to be abused at the grocery store. When I was contacted about my feedback I was told well that person means well but just doesn’t have a kind delivery of words. Well then I said put her in a position where she doesn’t interact with customers as much. I was told they can’t because it’s mostly a customer business but I have worked at a grocery store there are positions like stocking shelves where you don’t really have a lot of interaction. Anyway, I read the reviews it’s not really a place that I want to go anyway. I have enjoyed getting used to tops or going elsewhere. It just stinks I can’t shop anymore at a place so close to my house. I do not recommend going here and so far I haven’t regretted it at all.

A store associate assisted me with loading coupons and was quite efficient. Checkouts need to learn how to bag properly as to not crush veggies and bread.

It's a real shame that I haven't been able to get my cold cuts thin , the way I like them. It's been going on for some time now .I've been told that they've needed new blades for a long time. I've also been asking for the chickens to be browned. I stopped buying them.

The prices and food quality are good, but the workers are a whole different story. Don't get me wrong, there are some good employees at this store, but the older employees are horrendous. They are rude, judgmental and can even be racist if they can tell that you're not white. Stores need to start hiring a more diverse demographic of employees rather than old people who can't do their jobs without some decency. You're better off going someplace else.
