My favorite Rite Aid store; my Favorite diligent, caring, employees, kindly help me understand my prescriptions and help me find the products I need.
Previously, I had gone to CVS across the Street… What a nightmare! I literally stood at the counter for many minutes before I was even acknowledged.

Honestly this store was horribly understaffed and the lady working took my passport photo and said it would be fine even though it was not centered top to bottom. Well guess who just received a letter from the Department of State? I knew I should have made her redo it even though people were waiting. Now I have to buy new photos and my application is delayed. Never again!

Not the perfect pharmacy but it is far superior than the CVS across the street. This location has become my default pharmacy since they seem to be well stocked.

The pharmacy staff at this location needs significant training, in terms of using their computer systems, customer service and basic human decency. Because I was feeling under the weather I came into the store to pick up COVID tests wearing a KN95 mask. Over the course of 30 minutes they asked me repeated questions about my RiteAid account, which was created 30+ years ago, in a different state, when I was a small child.They were unable to connect my insurance to my account and so after 30 minutes told me that I was out of luck and needed to call my insurance on Monday. While the staff wasn’t actively rude, they showed no empathy or care – it was clear that it was my problem not theirs.After leaving I went to the RiteAid store at ShopRite 5 minutes away, and they were able to process my insurance immediately, and were polite and friendly the entire time. I will not be back to this store in the future.

As soon as I walked in I got a negative vibe of this place and the staff. Sure enough, they were just negative miserable people; both the woman working the register and the male manager. This was about 8:30pm on Saturday evening 11/23/19. I had called ahead for something and was told the price - the same price every other Rite Aid I called was selling it for - but when I got there the price was now higher. The manager looked me dead in the face and lied to me that he was standing next to the employee when the employee told me the higher price over the phone. Like I wouldn't have caught that abnormality when the price was exactly the same at every other store, Wal Mart, and Rite Aid online. Then, they also wouldn't let me stack the 3 coupons I had come to use. Mind you, it was an hour drive for me to go to this Rite Aid, and now that I was there they were trying to screw me. These were two of those worthless retail workers where everything they spew is about what they can't do; they expend absolutely no effort to help or service the customer. The thought of offering solutions never occurs to them because they are so negative and lazy. You know the type. From the interaction, they make you feel that you - the customer - are somehow their enemy. So, since I'd already driven an hour, I figured why not go another 16 minutes to Rite Aid in Danbury? I did that, and guess what? A super polite, friendly, and positive employee greeted me from the register when I walked in, and he easily got me the items I was there for, applied all three coupons, and he even offered me an additional 30% off sale they were having that day. If I hadn't taken a couple minutes to tell him the experience I had just had at the Carmel location, I would have been in and out in under 2 minutes, with no hassles whatsoever. Such a different experience. Since I don't live in the area, it's unlikely I'll ever go to either of these Rite Aids again, but if I lived in that area, I would drive the extra few minutes to the Danbury location rather than dealing with those sad people in Carmel. Obviously they gave enough of a bad experience that I've taken all this time to write this review.
