I guess their good guys.... being that their like The People's Oil.......
Does that mean like I can just come help myself to oil... like I got a rubber container in that back of my pickip.... to fill it with..... is it a come and help yourself place?
That's what we need more of in this country.... the People's oil..... oil for people....

Stay far away from this company.I just went through a lengthy back and forth with them (specifically Vicky) and all I can say is, I'm sorry if you get stuck dealing with her. She's rude and nasty and not helpful in the slightest. Do yourself a favor and go with ANY other company for oil, heat, HVAC, etc

Worse costumer service ever. Stay AWAY from them. Very expensive and never deliver on time. Called them on a Thursday to get 50 gallons propane tank. Wasn’t there till Monday. Called them on Monday and was promised to have it by the end of the week. It is Monday again and still have no propane tank. Called the company to find out what is going on. But was yelled at from the owner and he hunted up the phone on me. Guys save the headache and don’t deal with them.

I have found People's oil to be very reliable. Their experienced techs are very knowledgeable and helpful. One of the older, now retired ones, Chuck, had a part for my ancient furnace built at a local machine shop, in under 90 minutes, and it saved me from a very costly repair...the part only cost me like $25. Robert is also very talented, and there's a third guy that comes all the time who is also very good... I feel terrible I cant remember his name....I had some home improvement disaster going on once while he was here and he lent me some of his screw extractors and it got me out of a jam. Some of the younger ones that dont stay with the company weren't as good, but they get washed out eventually...A couple of times over the years I had to have a second tech come out because a new guy took some kind of shortcut, but overall they are a very good service provider. I ask the techs all the time how things work, how to do simple prevention maintenance, etc, and they are very honest and helpful.

Prices are the highest of all the oil companies.I’m pulling out of Peoples oil. I feel like I’m being taken advantage of. Nothing special about them to be charging so much.

In a time of crisis I called this company for oil delivery. No power for five days, back to back snow storms, and damage to my property. The first day we were supposed to get an oil delivery we were not home, the next day we were home but the driver claimed we were not. I called to see if the driver could come back and spoke to a woman with the nastiest attitude. I asked if the driver was able to get to the door as there is a tree in front of my house, the answer was "I dunno there was no check" I tried to explain my situation and was told there was nothing that could be done for me and I had to the wait another day for the driver to attempt coming back. We called the next morning to see if we were on the schedule for deliver, they assured us we were. No one came, we were home all day, with a check taped to the fuel pipe.
If you are looking for decent customer service, help during a crisis, or just new to the area, this is not the place for us. They already have their customers and seem like they don't want new ones.
