Love this organization. I have adopted 3 dogs from them over the years and have been very pleased. They truly care for the animals and require an extensive adoption process in order to adopt their dogs, which is the right thing to do. I will be continue to adopt from this caring organization.

Lovely people at Pawsafe. We drove two hours to see the dogs available at an Earth Day event and the entire experience is one I’d make the trip for again. The folks at Pawsafe were genuinely happy to help us with the adoption process, which was simple, amicable, and informative. While other rescues asked invasive questions about our personal lives (financial and disability statuses!), Pawsafe treated us like competent adults. We arrived an hour early to the event and the staff made sure we were able to meet the puppy for whom we were most excited; he is now five months old and has made our lives so much brighter. Thanks, folks at Pawsafe, for doing what you do!

A year ago, we rescued two loveable pups though one thinks she's a kissing kangaroo. Thank you Pawsafe! These cuties brighten our days.

To be completely honest i have no idea why paw safe has bad reviews i did months worth of research when i was looking to adopting a dog and they were very nice and sweet and accommodating my mother and i went in the fall of 2020 and even though they were only said they only allowed one person in the room do to covid restrictions they were kind enough to let my mom and i go into together since i was a minor at the time i have had my dog for three years he is the most amazing dog ever and i can’t thank paw safe enough for letting my family and i adopt him

Got the sweetest girl from Pawsafe in NY. The staff was so kind and helpful and you can tell they genuinely love and care for the animals there. This is our girl now.

I tried for multiple weeks to get a puppy- the entire staff makes you feel uncomfortable I would love to say it has nothing to do with the color of my skin but I’m afraid it does. I watched a certain race get treated like gold but not the case for us. Extremely disappointed !

The nicest staff & volunteers you will ever meet. We brought home our new puppy Davie this evening. You can tell they really care about all of the animals in their care. If I'm ever in the market for another puppy, I'm definitely checking with them first.

We adopted our boy when he was tiny - one of those mystery dogs labeled terrier mix who could be 20-60 pounds. We got so very lucky, with a handsome dog (his most commoner descriptor) who loves to snuggle and sleep as much as he loves to run and play.Pawsafe provided a safe and seamless COVID era adoption, I imagine their process is all the more convenient without the specific restrictions of the pandemic. When we visited, there was a litter of pups and you could visit one at a time in a caged enclosure about the size of a dressing room. We fell in love with the first pup we saw…or rather, he chose my son by walking straight over to him and snuggling up!I recommend Pawsafe to anyone who asks, they were caring, professional and helped us find our furever friend!

We adopted our new pup Fergus (fka Hot Rod) a week ago and had a fantastic experience with Pawsafe! All the pups were great. The adoption event was well organized with only 3 other adopters in our time slot (previous reviews mentioning dozens of people all vying for a handful of dogs are simply not correct). Everyone was calm, friendly, and courteous. Sharon from Pawsafe, who ran the event, was friendly and very welcoming (and has been very conscientious checking in to make sure Fergus is doing well in his new home). The fosters were all there to answer questions about the dogs, hovering like proud parents watching their kid at their first school play. It was just a great experience full of wagging tails and smiling faces. To also come away with a great new pup is the icing on the cake. Can't say enough good things about Pawsafe and would highly recommend!

We adopted our fur baby last week. His name was Baxter, but we changed it to Bixby. The adoption was so easy. We took Bixby to the vet and he had a clean bill of health! No worms! He was obviously well taken care of before we adopted him. He's the most well behaved, affectionate, and lovable puppy. I highly recommend PawSafe! We are so happy with our new arrival.
