I have used Carmel Animal Hospital for a few years now and after trying two other practices, am delighted. I believe Dr. Covitz to be an excellent doctor, who never rushes an appointment, gives a thorough examination every time, and takes the time to explain all results. He and his staff are highly responsive to our needs. Although this is a very busy office, everyone works together which creates a very pleasant atmosphere!

I have been working with Dr. Covitz for 23 years. He is the most professional, intelligent, and compassionate veterinarian I have ever known. I have brought six cats to him over the years, each very different in health needs and personalities. Each trusted "Dr. Jack"...not that any were happy to be there, but they were each calmer with him than any other doctor they dealt with over the years (ER visits). I drive an hour each way because he and his staff are worth the effort for my fur-babies. He listens to your concerns and speaks to you in a manner that conveys trust and his desire to help. A kinder man you will never meet.

We are so thankful for our care at CAH! We are able to get an appt quickly and Dr. Covitz truly cares for our animals and takes the time to educate and inform. Very lovely, peaceful surroundings of the office for the dogs to walk.

If I could give the doctor 10 stars I would. He puts the Animal first. I have an emergency. He’s going to the doctors office today and he’s going to call me to bring in my cat that’s real sick. After hours they close at noon on Thursday. if you don’t use him you’re doing yourself an Injustice. This man really really cares about your pet

I give them a zero. This is the worst place ever. Not only are they a one trick pony, they don't return calls for any reason! Do not bring your pet here. An unprofessional country bumpkin.

I met Dr. Jack Covitz when I was 6 years old. My mom used him for our 28 cats and dog. He made house calls for us. He left such an indelible impact on me so much so that, 30 years have passed since being 6 years old and I would drive to the moon and back to have my furry friends see him. No one can hold a candle to his genuine and compassionate heart. He is truly spectacular beyond measure. His staff is the best too!

Dr. Covitz and team - Our deepest thanks for helping our family say goodbye to our 14 year old dachsund, Huey. We loved him for so long, and you treated us with the most profound respect, supporting our wishes, giving Huey every opportunity possible, and at the ending hours, making our saying goodbye to him the as delicate a moment as possible. We will carry your kindness with us forever.

New to the area, I went to this DR. and was not very happy with him and will never go back. He says that he told me things, which he didn’t, then told me since I’m not happy that I should go somewhere else. I’ve never had a problem like this before. Will not be going back. ??
