Top-notch candies, made the old-fashioned way, homemade, not the factory-made junk that you'll find in the supermarket. You'll discover an abundance of traditional candies that your folks or grandparents used to enjoy, categories like "parlays" that you've never heard of (yet my mom, for instance, has long yearned for...harkening back to her youth). Some of these delights have become impossible to locate anywhere, but you'll have no problem finding them here...so the gift possibilities are endless and guaranteed to make you the family favorite the next time you show up for a Sunday or holiday dinner! I wish the cost weren't so prohibitive or I'd treat myself regularly, but as it stands now, I only shop here for gifts for loved ones...if only I could afford to be a regular (although I'd end up having to shop for larger clothing, so I guess it's a good thing that the prices are high!) Check them out - I assure you, you'll not be disappointed!

Delicious visit today! The chocolates and candies are delicious and made by hand by a small team of long time makers. They make their caramel and marshmallow themselves onsite! My personal faves are: Caramel bottom Marshmallow, Butter crunch and Pecan and Caramel Patties. I got a behind the scenes peek and have pared some photos and video.

These are the best caramel bottom marshmallows I have ever had. They are wrapped perfectly for gifting and the customer service is superb! I can't say enough about this product and service.

I will never patronize schwartz ever again. I went there with my two children during the height of covid paranoia. The person at the desk told me to leave one of my little children (4 and 6) outside because there can only be two people in the store at one time. Never mind that i explained to the person at the counter that my 6 year old is on the spectrum and can not be unsupervised outside. I have not frequented this business since and I am writing this review now because a friend just asked me about his business which reminded me about the incident. This is not a smart man or a good person.

This place has been here for so many years. I came here to pick up some chocolate gifts (40) and I am not sure why I have never been here before. Not far from my house.You walk into a small showroom filled (really filled) with chocolate and that's what you smell... lots and lots of chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate! There is a serious 'Yum' here and that's just from the smell. They have and enormous supply of every type of chocolate you could ever wish for, and plenty of marshmallow candies. That seem to be their signature piece here. The ones I had was incredible.I am dealing with the owner/candymaker, Stan. It's really hard to make a decision when you have so much to select from but he spent a lot of time guiding me to make the wisest decision. I am going with the special chocolate marshmallows and some small candies.Looks like I will be making this a regular stop on my day's activities. KUDO's to the team here at Schwartz Candies

The dark chocolate marzipan bars are the best in the world here and insanely fresh. I also love their marzipan individual dark chocolates if I can't get the bars. I have yet to find any place anywhere else on earth that has as good of marzipan as they do.I also enjoy the dark chocolate covered raisins.

This place has been here for many years. I'm not sure why I never tried it, but I did today. You walk in and the fragrance is intoxicating. Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate! Delicious chocolate! Yum. They have every type of chocolate you could ever want, all flavors of marshmallow candies. I've never heard of pistachio or banana marshmallow!Right now they have so many Easter chocolates to choose from. It's really hard to make a decision! We purchased some marshmallows for home and an assortment of dark chocolates as a gift. I'll go back here real soon.

When I was a girl, my father often brought home candy from Schwartz Out of This World Chocolates, which was then located on 72nd Street between Amsterdam and Columbus Avenues in NYC. I loved the assortment with truffles and parlays. My parents sent my favorite chocolate-covered marshmallows to me in camp. As a young woman, I'd stop in for their rocky road chunks. (Not sure they have those anymore.) Now I order online...for myself and for gifts. I've never outgrown Schwarz chocolates, and I never will.

Tucked into an off the main road strip mall with plenty of parking, Schwartz is a cute mom and pop chocolate shop that has plenty of variety. Basically I needed a chocolate fix but wanted something from a specialized store, and Schwartz did not dissappoint. Staff were friendly, place was clean, and lots of customized or prepacked options. Chocolate tasted fresh, not generic or off tasting. My favorites were the chocolate covered marshmallows and chocolate covered cashews. Cost was $10-15 for half a pound but that was plenty of chocolate. Would definitely come back here for a sweet fix or during the holidays for catering.

Found this place on Google and it met all my expectations. Very modern and a great vibe! Got the waffle sampler which was a very large portion and delicious.
