We are frequent shoppers to Aldi & had a very bad customer service experience .Went to buy 3 gallons 2%of milk in Carle Place store & there was few gallons left with expiry date 12/7/2023in cooler & behind that 2 full cart was there ,as i requested one of lady employee to give 2 gallons from new batch as she want to cooler the other employee name Ashley jumpeed & stopped her .so i ask Ashley to help she found to be rude & unprofessional, as i asked other employee Wendel to help me . she threatened him to complaint manager as i asked to see manager Sal who was off duty .very bad experience . i think Ashley needs to know how important is customer service. i came to know her name from another employee as she refused to tell her name.

This is the place to stop if you need a couple of items but don't want to do serious shopping. Most recent experience I had a full cart of groceries, easily over 250 worth. Get to the register and I'm told its cash (Who carries almost 300 on them to go shopping?), have to use a self-checkout. I don't mind self-checkout when its a couple items and I'm in a hurry but the little tray isn't designed for holding a shopping cart worth of groceries. They had no budge on checking me out so I paid for my coke at the self-checkout and left the rest of the cart for them to deal with. They don't make it easy enough to do and I don't get paid well enough by them to do their job. The new location in Hempstead seems to have this same policy which means still driving to Valley Stream. If Aldi's continues this policy at all their locations the Lidle isn't that muck more expensive and is closer, which will force a switch. Seems kinda silly to have a policy that makes it harder for the people spending the most money.

Excellent products priced lower than most others for most products. Their own brand is great. Largest Keto breads department around.

I was very impressed. I had been there once a long time ago and the store was small and cluttered. Now it is modern and nice and claim and of course the prices are good ?

I usually hate to give bad reviews but this brand new Aldis better get their act together. The store is filthy! EVERY time I’ve been there the floors a filthy…yesterday there was water all over the floor in the produce isle and paper towels all over trying to sop up the mess. I contacted corporate a few weeks ago and they said they would address the problem….clearly they haven’t. It’s a shame because every Audi I’ve ever been to is clean and well stocked except for this new and highly anticipated location. Come on management….you can do better.

My first time there,I see them on YouTube the store looks so nice,lots of Organic things, this store was very messy,no prices,not many Organic things,very disappointed!I guess it’s location,,I felt like I was shopping at a thrift shop,,I will be shopping at Trader Joe,,

This is a great place to come shopping, especially for a selection of fruits (fresh & frozen) and vegetables. They have very reasonable prices, and so far all of my purchases, including meats, have been excellent quality! Don’t be afraid to try their store brand. It’s very good. I highly suggest coming to shop early in the morning. I find the selection has been much better earlier in the day. Don’t be turned away by the sometimes messy appearance in the produce section. I assure you there is plenty to pick from and customers look for the best of each produce item. Also while you’re at it, look into getting some of their bakery shop items. Delicious!
