Hours: Brewer Bookstore at St. Lawrence University is a must-visit, noted for its wonderful and very beautiful layout in a refurbished old gym with a gorgeous two-story space, a full lower level, and a square balcony. It combines a typical university bookstore with art supplies, a gift store with a great selection of gifts and trinkets, and a general reader bookstore. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. While some wish for more books and less college apparel, and note it can be too hot, it remains the best bookstore between Montréal and Watertown. Visitors are encouraged to support the ability to browse by buying some stuff.
