This is one of the best auto service departments I’ve ever been to. I did not purchase my car from this dealership, but every time I’ve gone in, they’ve treated me like I have. Always fair price for repairs and never tries to upsell me With a repair I did not need. The staff is wonderful as soon as I walked in. I forgot the long young ladies name who was behind the desk when I walked in, but she was very helpful and patient

Possibly the worst car buying experience we’ve ever had. The communication was laughably bad, and it was almost like they were purposefully trying to waste our time. We had agreed on a price for a used vehicle on their lot (we’re buying a car for our daughter). They said they could not accept a personal check, so we wired the money from our online bank to a local bank to get them a cashiers check. We scheduled a pre-purchase inspection with our mechanic, and arranged to pick the vehicle up. We confirmed our appointment with our salesperson, as well as a manager (because at this point, we knew communication was a real issue). They made us take out an insurance policy on the vehicle, as well as go through an online ID verification before we could take the vehicle to our mechanic.
I drove the 40 minutes to come pick the vehicle up, and when I arrived, they said it was not available because it was being worked on. I was confused, because I’d quite literally just confirmed that I was picking the vehicle up 40 minutes earlier - with two different employees. I asked why no one had called me, and they kinda shrugged it off. “Yeah, sorry about that.” I was pretty angry at this point, but what blew up the deal is when the manager said, “Why do you even need an inspection? We have certified mechanics here…” - as the vehicle that I was hours away from buying - for my child - was in their shop being worked on, because it was mechanically unfit to sell. I can’t speculate about why this all happened, but I can say that it felt super shady, like they were intentionally going to try to sell us a defective vehicle.
Zero regard for our time. Zero effort to communicate. And zero chance we’ll ever buy a vehicle from Vision Auto Group. 100% chance we’ll tell all our friends about this experience though.

I’ve never been so appalled by a business. My fiancé’s 91 year old great uncle showed up at this dealership while having mental health issues and was very confused. Instead of calling him an ambulance, they SOLD HIM A CAR. He was so confused that they wrote out the check FOR HIM and just told him to sign it. The salesperson who did this was Ed Stebbins. So now he’s out $6k and when family members tried to resolve this issue for him, they’ve been met with nothing but resistance. The dealership refuses to take the car back even though they grossly took advantage of him and it’s extremely unacceptable. How terrible do you have to be to take money from an elderly man having a medical crisis? They should be ashamed of themselves.
EDITED TO ADD: I’m not sure why whomever is responding to my review seems to be unaware of this situation. There have been numerous calls over the past several weeks about this issue, and my fiancé went to the dealership in person this past Saturday to speak to the general manager, Kevin Heriehy, and nothing was resolved for him. I’ll email the address provided and hopefully something will be done this time.

BUYERS BEWARE!! Went in on Saturday to get resolution for an ongoing problem we've been dealing with for two months with the sales department. Not only did they say they had no record of my family calling to resolve this but they offered no help and raised more questions than they answered. The GENERAL MANAGER Kevin Heriehy had said they DO NOT KNOW how to fill out checks (bc it's old and outdated) but they said it is common practice at that location to fill out checks for BUYERS. Clearly they have no problem taking advantage of people that need assistance.

First walked in Meeting Thomas; Very Helpful and Knowledgeable, Friendly and had Focus on what we were thinking we wanted. But this was our first shopping day; we really wanted to look at other cars. So, unfortunately; we left. Bad idea!
We did go and look at other -4 cars, but None were as good as what Thomas helped us with. So, we decided we should go back to Canadaguia Vision.
But Thomas was out that day: And were Lucky to Meet Phil! Phil got out a Palisade. Unfortunately, the Palisade Thomas had shown us had been purchased. Phil showed us a 2021 Newer with less miles, absolutely Perfect. So Lucky, we changed our mind. Thomas was very kind and helpful. He had such a great attitude and friendly manner; it was obvious we could trust the Vision Store in Canadaguia NY. AND even better we were meant to meet Phil. Our Palisade is awesome. Perfect for our Family of 6! Phil knew exactly what we wanted and knew everything about our Palisade.
We also were able to meet Jason, who helped us with our New Warranty. It is great because my husband had a stroke, so now I can easily plan to get work done on the Palisade with no problems. Thanks Jason.
I just wanted to let everyone know the Team in Vision Canadaguia NY is Great! If you go there, just buy your automobile. Don't waste your time and leave to Look at other stuff ... It won't be better; you will lose your great deal. Thank you so much Vision Canadaguia Team. K&J Rochester NY 9/24!

I want to personally thank Vision Hyundai Canandaigua for not once, BUT TWICE today Telling my wife you had a car there in stock and ready to be seen before she drove 1.5HRS to find it was sold yesterday! Not only that the “salesman” wasted an entire hour trying up upsell and talk her out of said vehicle before he found THAT IT WAS NOT EVEN THERE! NEVER AGAIN! ?️?️?️?️?️???? DONT USE A CALL CENTER GOING OFF OF YOUR WEBSITE TO TELL PEOPLE IF CARS ARE THERE!

Sales department staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Service department staff are the same. What struck me was that they remembered me even though I've only been here once. That demonstrates a concern about customer care that I admire.
