I entered the store today and was immediately told that they were closing in 25 minutes. I wouldn’t have been bothered if I heard “hi, just to let you know we will be closing soon.” Very rude employees -one started tapping her fingernails on the counter because we stayed and looked around. Guess I’ll find a different shoe store…

Very clean & organized store, all of the employees that I’ve come in contact with are very respectful and friendly!! I can always find my toddler great adidas play shoes for under $40-$50 & hey dudes which are great shoes and super cute.

I bought a $90 pair of sneakers for my grandson 2 months later they're coming unglued . I bought snakes here before and was always very dissatisfied . I will never come here again . They won't help you if you have an issue you have to do it online and then they ignore you . Next time I'm going to Walmart and buy two pairs for a lot less and they will last twice as long .

Came here for a pair of shoes for my dad that is all he wanted for Father's Day. Found a great pair and they were on sale. I bought a pair for me a couple months ago I really enjoy that this place is in Canandaigua and I don't have to go to the mall for quality shoes. I will definitely be back maybe for a pair for my daughter for school come September.

All of the people who work at this location are SO Nice and Super helpful!!! I haven't come across a mean or unhelpful employee yet!!! And that's saying something for sure:) Especially in today's day and age when everyone is out for themselves or disrespectful to employees and the general population. I'm so glad this store is still standing through the COVID 19 pandemic, when so many of the stores in the Mall have closed. So sad to see good stores closing their doors!!! I hope this location stays open for many, many, many, more years to come. A family favorite for sure!!! My husband and I enjoyed shopping here back when we first starting dating etc. Now, we love coming and getting shoes here for our three children too! My youngest is still a baby but when older; I know we'll be buying shoes here too! There is an Alters in Canandaigua where I used to shop alot. Great store but smaller location with less sale product. I still love this store bc I used to go here alot with my Mom as a kid on up through a young adult. I just choose to go to the Victor location bc it's closer to my House. But I would recommend both locations and this Shoe / Company. Altiers/Shoe Depo have fantastic buys and something literally every one in the family can find and love. :) . Which as a parent; makes my life Soooo much easier when I don't have to go to several different stores to find shoes or the right sizes etc. Especially with the prices of gas! Who can afford to. And you can call and check with some of these places but they won't answer the phone! Altiers Shoe Depo always answer their phones and offer help or solutions. Like, when I called and asked about a specific shoe/boot that they carried and asked if they had my size. And they did! And the nice Lady employee set it aside for me! Great customer service!!! :)
