I highly recommend avoiding this pharmacy and taking your business elsewhere . This is far from the first issue , I know I should have learned sooner. The pharmacist working today (7/21/24) is named Jim put this cardboard up before the technical closing time even those it was close. After we were waiting in line for 10 minutes. He denied my young son eye drops so now he is suffering through the night. I will be contacting the manager Victoria, and have already contacted corporate .

Some pharmacists are kind of rude and dismissive when you want to ask them something but then there are others that actually take the time to answer your questions thoroughly with knowledge. I spoke to a pharmacist named Greg and he was very helpful with answering my questions about the medications that I took.

They never have a common asthma medication in stock, I recently switched to this pharmacy and every time they don't have my prescription filled and I have to wait for them to fill it. I have to wait an additional three to four days without my asthma meds because they're not in stock. If you're thinking about switching pharmacies Don't go here they are not reliable at all. New update, the pharmacist told me they would have the medication in 3 days after I went in so I called to make sure I wouldn't waste my time driving in and low and behold it's not in stock like they said it would be. I have to wait an additional day. Therefore, I am out my asthma medication for 5 days

Previous review was wrong. The pharmacy at this store is amazing. They have gone out of there way to make sure I was taken care of more than once. Great place, great help, great store!

I have been a customer for over 16 years but will be switching my pharmacy. I was in the store just now shopping and witnessed the assistant manager being very rude to the older lady (Carol) that works at the front counter. She was calling her out in front of customers and continually repeated herself in a nasty voice. Carol is one of the few employees in that store who is always friendly when assisting customers. I don't believe this kind of behavior should be tolerated and obviously she does not have the people skills for her position.

The store is alright, but the company practice of adding "Kidcents" donation to the total amount - they didn't even ask me if I wanted to donate - It feels like they just stole money from me. I noticed this one other time I visited this store on my receipt - so beware they are rounding up without asking your permission. That is theft.

Had my script sent in early so they would have time to fill it and they still didn't have it filled on time. Not only is it not filled, it is now on me to call other pharmacies to see if they can get it, even though it's already overdue. They couldn't bother telling me this was an issue when the script was sent in last week. Oh no, that would be all too helpful. This place is many things but "helpful" is not one of them.

The pharmacy staff is often very rude. The pharmacy itself is always out of my medication, which isn’t a medication I can go a day without. If they’re not completely out of it, they have to do a partial fill, meaning I have to go back to the pharmacy. Once in a while is one thing, but every month? It’s crazy. They screw other things up as well. I just called there earlier and they said I didn’t have any refills, despite me holding my prescription bottle in my hand with the “1 refill” printed on the label. Then they sent in a request to my doctor for the wrong medication. It’s just a mess. I miss Amanda, the head pharmacist who used to work there. She was always polite and helpful, willing to go above and beyond for the customer. The customer is supposed to always be right, that’s retail. It seems the customer is always wrong at Rite Aid. It’s been like this since Amanda left a couple years ago, I feel like I should take my business elsewhere. I think I’d be better off.

The staff here is friendly and takes time for accuracy and consultation.Medical EVERYTHING is short staffed. There are supply-chain problems and what makes it worse is ATTITUDE, so please- BE KIND.

Worst pharmacy to use in canandaigua. Very inefficient, staff is often rude, longest wait time and no one seems to ever be actually doing their job. -3/10

Every time I go to pick up my prescription "it's not ready yet, it will be another 15-20 minutes" EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I am so over it. I put in a pick up time of 1pm arrive at 5pm THE NEXT DAY and still not ready. It's ridiculous. And the excuse of being short staffed is over played. Everyone is short staff, where I work I am short staffed but I still get customers orders done on time.
