Bought a frigidaire side by side refrigerator in January 2023 from Canandaigua, NY Lowes and purchased the Lowes 5 year protection plan. after 6 months had multiple problems and called the protection plan number. Had 3 service call visits that did not solve the problems. eventually the refrigerator stopped working completely only 9 months old. Had to buy new refrigerator and have been attempting to get refund for 9 month old broken fridge as well as get broken fridge taken away. Now after 3 months still have broken fridge in garage and no refund. DO NOT ever purchase the protection plan from Lowes. it is completely and utterly useless and waste of your money. if I could give less than one star review I would definitely do that. DO NOT buy any appliances from Lowes.

Had a patio set sent to Canandaigua Lowes...the employees that work here are completely inept....one of the three packages were missing. The customer service is the worst I have ever seen. I recommend going to a small mom and pop hardware store, the knowledge and quality of service will definitely surpass this abomination. What a joke!

Rented a truck today from Lowes in Canandaigua. When returning it, the one woman at the counter had a difficult time figuring out what 90 minutes was from the time the truck was taken and kept figuring out the supposed return time was in fact 10 minutes earlier than what it actually should have been. Add to that the fact that we waited in line in the store before actually getting to the counter(about 5 minutes) so that time was added to the time that we "rented" the truck. I think any time you have to wait in line to get to the counter should be deducted from the total rental time. When I mentioned that we had waited in line for a few mins, the person assisting us gave us attitude and asked if we had "been waiting in line for an hour" and said they could check the cameras to see if that was the case. Wow!! I work in retail so I know customers can really suck, but I didn't feel like we were giving them attitude, just saying that time spent in line shouldn't count as time renting a truck. We were charged for going 30 mins over the 90 minute allotment, but if the 90 minutes was figured out correctly, and the time we spent in line waiting in the store was deducted, the charge should have only been for an additional 15 minutes, not 30. Very poor customer service in my opinion

I couldn't imagine anyplace worse. Tried to call them and their recording was supposed to connect me with a department. Phone rang for 21 minutes in that department and then they took the phone off the hook and left it off. Heard people talking by the phone but no one would pick it up and talk to me. Another 20 minutes of that. Never got through.Why can't I give them a -5 star rating?

I am so disappointed. When you walk in the store, it feels like entering Nordstroms. Everyone greets you, asks if they can help. Then, if you are considering a new kitchen countertop, caveat emptor. The saleswoman significantly underestimated the cost. The installer, Stone Central, came out with a laser to measure our small kitchen - for 2 1/2 hours. Then, he had to come back again since he apparently made an error.We waited, never heard from Lowes, so stopped in to see our contact. "Oh," she says, "I was just about to call you." We paid the additional $750 and waited. For two weeks. She did not know how to send the paperwork to Stone Central confirming that we paid the revised amount. Apparently, the third time was the charm. Stone Central installed in countertops and left a 3/8" - 1/2" gap between it and two walls. We sent them pictures, their only solution was to provide a vertical 2" high backsplash that was a totally different color and, therefore, unacceptable.We had to pay a handyman to place wooden molding to hide the gap and then paint it to match the wall color. Neither Stone Central nor Lowes wold cover this cost.I then called Lowes' customer service department, was given a manager's email address. I wrote her, describing the issue and she has never written back.Do not use Lowes for any large job as they do not stand behind their work nor that of their third party installers.

This store is not one I would recommend.Customer service is a joke, you can't find anyone to help you. Iam done with this poor excuse of a home improvement store. If you're lucky they might answer the phone & if they do they'll transfer you to the department you want where no one picks up. Nice!

I went to Lowe's to buy garden soil . I was trying to get all my shopping done at once since gas is so expensive. No place to park. I drove around their whole lot. They had allowed people that were going to a concert to park in their lot. Not any parking for regular customers. Kind of mad. Did not get the soil. I do a lot of shopping in their store.

I just spent an hour searching for two items at the Canandaigua Lowes using their app which indicated that it was in stock and provided an aisle and bin number. Needless to say, neither were at the location specified and it appears that they may not be in stock. The person who is in charge of the department was missing and the person I did find was unable to locate the items.The app is almost totally useless if the store management doesn't keep it updated and accurate. So, after significant frustration and time wasted I'm ordering the items from Amazon. John
