Just recently purchased a venza limited Toyota from West Herr. Chris Verstrsete, sales consultant, was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Actually everyone there was friendly and welcoming. Absolutely love my car and I would highly recommend this dealership.

Revising my review after a call with the service manager Steven.
I left a review voicing concerns about being unaware of my expired oil change and tire rotation coverage (2 years or 25,000 miles) on my 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross. Yesterday during my service I agreed to an additional service not knowing that i had to pay for my tire rotation and oil change services. I am in the process of closing on my first home and being blind sided by a bill of $355 was upsetting/disappointing.
Today, however, i received a call from Steven from West Herr in Toyota. He was attentive to my thoughts, concerns, feelings and provided a thorough explanation of the miscommunication. Steven apologized and offered to credit me the additional services. Thank you for taking the time to chat with your customers, i felt valued and respected during that call!

I was recommended Joshua from a trusted advisor who stated, “he doesn’t d!@& around”. Joshua was amazing with guiding me since I was open and didn’t really come in with an exact model or color I wanted. I just told him what features I’d like and he just ran with it. The car I picked out did get sold later that day but he matched it and the car I ended up with had even better features. He even scheduled a shuttle to come pick me up and even recommended insurance when my original plan wasn’t going how I wanted. It seemed like every hiccup Josh found a solution and he promised me he would get me in a car no matter what and that he’s here to work for me. I appreciate him so much because it seemed like he made the impossible happen. I’m very happy I worked with Joshua and Toyota of Canandaigua, shout out to Mike as well!

The service desk dept (besides the cashier) was a HORRIBLE experience. I just want 2 safety recalls repaired. Instead they tried to over charge me for an inspection (went from $21 to $75, get out of here) Recalls scheduled to be worked on both at the same however there still aren't parts available, come to find out at the end of the service. When picking up the car, the front desk looked at me like they never heard "Hi, I'm here to pick up my car" in their life. It was a SAFETY RECALL appt, slipping in extra fees where you can and being completely rude isn't a way to gain business. I had an appt with sales I almost blew off because of how terrible service dept was. I'm not looking forward to going back to finish the repairs, or ever. Otherwise Andrew in sales was awesome! The service cashier was also a sweetheart!

Scheduled service was completed in a reasonable amount of time, and I was greeted warmly despite being new to Toyota. The woman who greeted me pointed out my inspection is due soon. I do need additional work, and scheduled that and the inspection for 6 weeks from now, at a convenient time.
09/2024: I returned to replace my tires. The price was as quoted and I was done 15 minutes earlier than estimated. As always I was pleased with the service.
