Looked for a contractor that would handle a small patch of concrete and came upon 518 Concrete. I can’t say enough about Chad and his helper….he suggested a pathway to my pool and I’m so happy with the results….very professional and friendly and I would highly recommend them and definitely have them back for any future work!

Chad did an absolutely amazing job around our pool with stamped concrete. It made a huge difference to the whole area and honestly we wished we had done it sooner. Chad is knowledgeable, thorough, detail-oriented and even the clean up after the work was done was handled professionally.

Chad and his crew extended an existing slab for me. The work was done and done well within a few weeks of me initially contacting Chad for an estimate. My required dimensions changed from the original plan and Chad rolled with it without an issue. He’s very professional and can easily be reached with questions. I would recommend him.

Chad was here to do the estimate as promised and now I have a beautiful new sidewalk. Easy to deal with, quick and efficient. They did not waste time. Clean up done as well afterward. Just have to wait for my grass to grow back in at the edges of the sidewalk.

Giving 518 Concrete 1 Star Review: I hired 518 concrete for a front walkway, back patio and bar.Pros:• Initial good impression in the Winter before his season started and when contract was laid out. Was polite and friendly and shared high expectations. Walked through my vision with me and provided a decent quote.• Did a good job on the hardscaping and bar countertop.• Handled last min. changes appropriately on project (cost extra $).Cons:• Patio and walkway are not finished.• Front walkway has a huge crack. He said he would fix it.• After the concrete was cured, 28 days, he cut relief lines and got concrete dust EVERYWHERE. I had to pay someone to come clean up the concrete dust that was left EVERYWHERE.• Left a huge mess of my property and yard. Concrete all over my white vinyl fencing. Rocks/Concrete all over my yard. Slump pile concrete all over yard. Told me he would come rake out, backfill and seed the yard, He did not. Spit chewing tobacco all over my property when working.• Used my personal garbage can and poured waste concrete in it, along with other items. Left the garbage can for us to not only dispose of which was very heavy, but also had to be replaced because it was not able to be used again after there was dried concrete in it.• Stamped concrete has uneven color or sealant that has bubbled up and again, looks messy and unfinished, or thought through.• Did not finish the job. Said he would be back, and never showed up, stopped communicating.• Is not fine tuned with small details of the work, and applied very messy, wrong colored caulk up against stone, didn't glue down or secure block caps and overall many flaws in the stamped concrete.• Became extremely flakey not showing up when he said he would and stopped communicating.• Mismeasured the circle step onto the patio, too small for space, again no communication.• We paid extra money for extra block due to changes, he did not use all the block and took the block. I asked him not to take the block, and that I would use it for my garden, and he still took the block that I paid extra for.• Communication turned very different from initial greetings. He apologized for the way he acted and blamed stress of the job.• When I mentioned he had a contract to uphold he said "Do you think I care about a contract?"Overall I would NOT recommend 518 Concrete due to the overall unprofessional nature things turned into, the unfinished job, the mess that was left for me to clean up and fix. His work is not as good as he promised. There are some great aspects of the job, but it's far from perfect or professional. Unless you want a rushed and unfinished, messy outcome, with a headache.I plan to bring this contractor to court to recoop the costs I had to pay to fix his mistakes,

Absolutely awful experience. I am not sure who is writing the other reviews but this guy Chad Brown is felon straight out of prison, who is a liar, and stole from me and never returned to finish the job, blocked my number and caused so much unnecessary stress.The owner Responded and is a liar and said he does not know me and did not do a job for me. HeABSOLUTELY did a job for me and I called him as he requested and he BLOCKED MY NUMBER!@

518 Concrete was a huge disappointment. I hired them for a concrete job and the owner Chad was absolutely awful to work with and deal with. I should have known better than to give money upfront for a job that he would not come back to complete. He poured the concrete and the walkway was not compacted enough so it cracked within the first week. He promised to come back and fix it and he blocked me. I am now in a situation where I have to have someone else come fix it because it is so bad. It looks absolutely awful. Do not hire this company.

I hired 518 to pour a couple of patio slabs and widen the 28 inch sidewalk to my porch. They were the only contractor who actually explained what he was going to do in a knowledgeable and professional manner. I hired him and was not disappointed. The crew works together to get the job done and the finished project was outstanding.
