The location of this locally owned gas station and convenience store offers it enormous potential. It is the only place for miles around where one could purchase groceries or necessities, at least until Loves truckstop opened across the road. They have not taken advantage of this at all, and in fact have offered fewer necessities over time. At one time it was possible to buy modest quantities of eggs there, but more recently they have been unable to sell any eggs because, and I quote, they "can't figure out how to charge someone for eggs". This location could be the hub for people living in the north side of Austerlitz, the southside of Canaan, and the western side of state line was Stockbridge, and the fact that they are open around the clock makes that particularly appealing. AmBest could offer eggs , butter, and a handful of fresh vegetables the way Stewarts shops does , and be a hero locally.
