I would not take your lawn equipment to Jim's Equipment Repair, Inc. . After taking our lawn tractor to be serviced for startup issues and asked for general maintenance cleaning out the gas tank etc. we came to pick up our mower and settled the bill at the time of pickup with the receipt stating paid in full. 2 days later they decided to call us and state that they made a typo in the bill and we still owed $30.00 which at the time we were not concerned with and said no problem mistakes happen we would stop in to settle it when we had time. 3 weeks past their phone call we hadn’t made it down to pay up on the mistake THEY made so they decided to send us a threatening letter with a late fee. My husband decided to stop in and discuss the matter with them because I don’t think we should be responsible for a late fee due to their own mistake and pointed out some things on the receipt that wasn’t actually completed on the mower (The fuel tank still had multiple bugs in it). After agreeing that they would no longer charge a late fee we received another threatening letter with a 2nd late fee stating they were going to make it a legal matter and send the bill to collections. If my original bill says paid in full on the receipt the day of service can they even do that??? Especially over $30. Just so unprofessional in my opinion. I would NOT go there and will not be buying any tractors for my own business from them!

Jim, Jeremy and their other mechanic (didn't catch his name) did an excellent job of servicing and repairing my new-to-me Steiner. Squeezed me in on short notice which was a very nice surprise being a new customer. They completed a full service, repaired a couple of issues, adjusted a few things and were great about explaining what they did in detail. In and out in one day, which of course won't always happen - but they were able to get everything I needed done since they had the parts in stock, which is a big plus. I highly recommend this dealership!

Jim, Bonnie and Jeremy, are the nicest people to do business with. My husband Richard has been doing business with them since the early 2000's and we have never have had any issues with them. Most of the time we call them to order parts and they send them to us, but every now and again we need to go there for the parts to pick them up, which is a good thing, as we enjoy seeing them and talking to them. The boys also enjoy the ride there.We strongly recommend their business for buying equipment and repairs and also the friendship.They are fair, honest and reasonably.

It’s not very often you find places like this to do business with … old school American dreamer who has obviously built up his reputation over decades. After owning a Steiner for 20 years I decided to upgrade to a 450. My Steiner still ran great so I stayed with the Kubota 32 HP liquid cooled. I bought the 6 foot rough cut and 6 foot finish mowers and put duals on it. This machine with the rough cut mower is amazing. I can mow the headlands around my field faster than with my John Deere 4052 with a bush hog. I already knew the finish mower would do an excellent job. I will recommend this product to anyone. Jim's service is excellent and he knows Steiners inside and out.

We had our Landmaster Landstar serviced here after a year of tough vineyard work. Whenwe called to make arrangements, we were told bring it on a particular date. We did. A week later we called to ask what was found. We were told everyone was at a utv show, nobody has looked at it and they're backed up it'll be a couple weeks. Long story short. The squeeking they couldn't find remained and now we see the wheel bearings were dry, severely worn and needed replacement. What was over $1,000 paid for??? Find someone else
