Me and my husband stayed here for a night on our way to Niagara Falls. We needed a clean and safe place to sleep, and this place provided that very well. We stayed in room number 10 and I’m honestly very impressed by how clean was the room, and bathroom specifically. Snacks and some fruit were complementary and they served coffee, tea and some muffins. Not a fancy place at all but if you’re looking for a clean and affordable place to spend the night this place definitely worth a try.

My wife, daughter and I stayed 2 nights recently. It was one of the few locations available in the area because of the new york state fair. Therefore they charged us almost $300/night instead of their usual $150. On the second night, around 10pm, my 7 year old daughter stepped off of the bed and was stung by a wasp. We had no windows or doors open, not even in the bathroom so we had no idea how it got in. My daughter spent the rest of the night screaming and crying in pain. The following day i mentioned it to the manager who offered only his apologies. Later that same day another wasp was in the room which terrified my daughter. We found out there was a nest swarming with them in the awning just outside of our room. I complained to the manager who offered a refund, which he assured me he'd take care of on Monday. After trying to contact them on Monday and Tuesday, im confident that i was lied to and will not be receiving the refund in was promised. My daughter spent the next 48 hours in intermittent pain and crying throughout the night.

What a lovely stay - fabulously clean (actually - completely spotless and way above a normal 4 star hotel standard), very comfortable and the nicest possible owners you could ever hope to meet.Yes, it's a highway motel and not a full service hotel but for a place to stop over whilst you're on the road it's a complete gem and a real find.And to the owners for going above and beyond for forwarding my forgotten kindle - thank you very much indeed.

Great place clean clean clean comfortable bed,great a/c convenient traveling. Owner was so nice and welcoming, fresh fruit water and snacks left in your room.

The Nightshade Inn is a very well-done renovation of a classic roadside motel. The ground-floor separate rooms are immaculately maintained. The location is quiet. Not luxurious but practical. Many nice touches for guests.

I had to stay here for some travel for work. Was here for two nights. Don't let the outside of this place for you the inside is beautiful and nicely restored. This staff is extremely nice. I would definitely stay here again and actually planning on doing so in October. Nice quiet Inn a little bit off the beaten path but well worth it The fresh fruit and snacks in the room was extremely nice and they did have a little bit of pastries, bananas, oatmeal, and of course coffee and tea for breakfast in the main area.

We were inadvertently late and they were very accommodating to us. The rooms were extremely clean, all the particulars in the room were in good shape and working properly. Could not say enough nice things about this location and the management. Pete and Susie, Cohoes, NYRooms: Very clean, the bathroom was really exceptional, the furniture was new and in good shape.

What a wonderful place! Everything was so very clean and modern and stylish and the bed very comfortable. What the owners have done with this small strip motel is simply amazing. You will enjoy snacks, fruit, and 2 bottled water in your room and a small array of breakfast goodies all at a reasonal price. Mr. Singh was so cordial and professional in helping us arrange a last minute, unexpected stay. Great job!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Nightshade Inn & Gardens. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the man who checked us in was extremely hospitable and friendly. Our room was very affordable as well. I would definitely come back and stay again :)

Nightshade provided exactly what we needed for our road trip and staff made if very easy to check in and out. Rooms are clean, fresh fruit provided in the room!!, and modern bathroom with awesome rain shower head.2 small things Id recommend, invest in better beds when you can and towels. Beds and towels did the trick for what we needed, but when you have the capital, grab those two things and I can’t imagine anyone having anything negative to say about your hotel

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The Inn was very clean and comfortable, the staff extremely friendly, and numerous special touches that made our time here most enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here while in the area, we will return!

We stayed here last night. Talk about fantastic!!! Super clean and friendly. Mostly updated rooms. Comfy bed. Snacks!!! Hulu!!! Would highly recommend
