I purchased a simple gable vent for $38 on Friday, on Monday I realized it was not paintable and went to return the item and was charged a 20% restocking fee, when I questioned this i was told that it was the policy and that was that.....I was about to purchase $1,500 prior to learning of the restocking fee and instead went to the competitor.... Unfortunately I really wanted to start using Allied as an alternative to Riverhead Building Supplies however as it turns out I will never be going back to Allied ever again....dumb
