These people NEVER answer the phone, always get the machine? What business does that?"Gene" the owner/pharmacist is on a head trip and is really mean, has the personality of a snake. never smiles, never a hello? Wow...Changes pick up times/dates to suit themselves. AVOID at all costs. Went here for years, never again.

My family and I have been using Riverside Remedies since they opened almost a decade ago. Dr. Burns is extremely knowledgeable on every topic we have brought to him, and is able to answer any and all questions of concern. He was one of the first places in the state to receive the Covid 19 vaccine, and has vaccinated almost everyone I know. Shannon, the pharmacy technician, is a delight and is extremely professional. This pharmacy is a staple in our community and we are so lucky to have them here. Thank you for always being so dependable.

Very difficult to get a human being on the phone. Seem to overstep their training to question prescriptions, made some very unsafe recommendations about dosage.

What a terrible, unprofessional and unfriendly business. My cat needed antibiotics and the vet said this is where they were calling my script. I went to pick it up where a very rude and unfriendly pharmacist was there and told me he would need 45 minutes at least. After I waited 45 minutes, he was gone and a friendly store clerk helped check me out. After 2 days, we ran out of antibiotics. He had given us the wrong volume. We had to get the prescription called in again despite it being their own error. When we went to pick it up, they were unable to compound it… therefore we have to give a huge amount of volume to this car for his medications! They even asked if we could wait a few days for the pharmacist to come back and compound the medications. So no instead of giving the cat 0.75mls we have to give him 7.5mls at a time! As someone who works in human healthcare, this whole situation has been a nightmare and I can’t believe the incompetence. THEY MADE US PAY AGAIN FOR THE ANTIBIOTICS THEY MESSED UP IN THR FIRDT PLACE. It makes me feel they are untrustworthy and therefore dangerous. Dispensing drugs is a business that requires vigilance and if they can’t even dispense properly, how I can feel they are dipensing correctly and safely for my pet?!

The folks at Riverside are the best! I have had only very positive experiences with them. They text you when your script is ready, the pharmacist is always available to answer questions about the medications and they even say "hi" to me by my name. Good old fashioned customer service. Why would anyone ever settle for Walgreens?

The pharmacist, Gene, went so far above and beyond the call of duty. After a full day of work he came through a horrible rainstorm to my 98 year old father's house to give him the COVID vaccine. My Dad is mostly home bound and thanks to Gene, my father can finally safely, see the doctors he hasn't been able to see. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

A Fantastic Pharmacy on Lower Main Street, in Callicoon. The Pharmacists and Staff work very hard to meet the Clients needs.Staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful--all the time.They carry general & personal care items, as well as Beautiful Greeting Cards, and small selection toddler educational Toys.A great, RELIABLE, go-to Pharmacy FOR Local residents as well as vacationers!

Most often only the sole pharmacist is there and is busy with something or on the phone - most times I've been left standing there unacknowledged, waiting several minutes or more, then no friendly hello or "sorry for keeping you waiting". It's the only game in town so no choice - serves its purpose - to get a prescription.

Pharmacist was rude to my wife. They didnt have 2 prescriptions she needed. But never called her to tell her. She went through withdrawal Bad business. Pharmacist has personality of a sea cucumber.
