Our stay was in pool house room 333. We woke up to an abundance of ants in the corner of our room which seemed to have come through a hole in the floor, there was a gap under the door that also could have been where they came from. The resort is in a beautiful location. However we were overall fairly disappointed in our stay. I did contact the resort privately but they chose not to respond.
Rooms: Very small. Barn style door for the bathroom.

The stay was incredible. Beautiful rooms, great facility, and Kimberly, the host, was so helpful and kind. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Callicoon Hills! A buddy of mine and I were in town for a run of Phish shows at Bethel Woods. We've been through this a million times: we scramble to find a hotel when they announce tour dates, everything is flying off the shelves with people booking travel, and we never really have a chance to research our stays. Callicoon Hills was probably the best surprise we've had in 30 years of following the band. The grounds were BEAUTIFUL (be sure to check out the short trail behind the barn), the staff was accommodating and knew us by name by the time we checked out, and we had a blast bonding with the other guests, most of whom were in town for the shows, as well. The room was small but comfortable - there's enough to occupy you throughout the rest of the property that you're only in there to bathe and sleep, anyway. We didn't do much but lounge by the pool, but the hotel is as close to things as anything else in the Catskills. Had we known that the space was so awesome, we would have stayed longer. I will definitely seek them out the next time Phish plays Bethel.

Lovely mountain escape! Beautiful grounds, nicely done rooms. Good amenities. Bed and breakfast without the breakfast included. Would definitely stay here again if in this area.

Beautiful property. Rooms were small but nice and clean. Unfortunately, the rooms were very loud. Service was good.

We had our wedding at Callicoon Hills in May 2024. It was an incredible weekend, thanks to Rachel and her amazing events team. Gorgeous venue where all of our friends and fam could stay on-site, relax in the Catskills, and enjoy multiple events throughout the weekend. They partnered with us to create the outdoorsy experience we wanted - the menu was especially unique and delicious!! Way to go, chef!

We got 2 rooms: one was an A frame and one was a regular room at the pool house. The A frame was an interesting experience. However the regular room was small and outdated. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The grounds were beautiful. Unfortunately, the pool was dirty and there were a lot of bugs floating on the surface. The staff was friendly though.

Wonderful experience with this hotel. We originally booked an A Frame room. After realizing that it was a 12 minute hike up a hill, we decided to see if there was a way to upgrade to a more traditional room. They were incredibly accommodating, and gave us no issues about upgrading to the pool house. Both rooms were nice in their own right, the pool house just fit our needs better—as we were not dressed appropriately to walk through the woods. Very excited to go back.

Callicoon Hills is a beautiful and charming place.
Ideal place for however wants to “unplug” from the frantic city life.
The common areas and the rooms are carefully crafted and designed to offer a unique look and minimalist and elevated country feel.
The staff is committed and always available to assist.
Callicoon Hills has a beautiful barn by a private lake, ideal for events and weddings.

Just a beautiful place in upstate New York. The restaurant was top notch, so much that you have to make a reservation, because it seems it's very popular! The bartenders were super knowledgeable and were actually making limoncello by hand when I was there!
The site is really beautiful with lots of outdoor areas, and the nightly fires and smores were a nice touch. They have a well kept lawn where you can play outdoor games like bocce, cornhole, ping pong, or just sit in some swings. We didn't get to use the pool because the weather, but it looked huge!
Everything was super clean and maintained. There's a lot to do in the area with breweries, distilleries, local stores, too. Check out the BBQ place nearby - it was delicious.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

The grounds are lovely. Great to explore and wander over the road to the pond.
Spacious rooms, we loved the noise machine. Pool are was perfect!! Never feels crowded as it’s such a large size pool. Only downfall is the resto was closed when we were staying and it’s quite far for decent food options!

Callicoon Hills was just what my family needed! We made a fleet of these tiny cozy cabins nestled in the middle of the beautiful woods home for the weekend. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the build of the A-frame cabins were perfectly adequate for some hardcore peaceful sleeping. With the floor to ceiling window at the head of the bed, I felt both the safety and comfort of a luxury cabin, while also feeling connected to nature, as if there were no walls around me. The amenities in the very clean bathrooms were so nice, with high end soaps, shampoos, and conditioners. The grounds of the resort had plenty to do like really nice hiking trails, a dining hall with great local beers, a gym and a steam sauna that I made a lot of use of. The fire pits were perfect for connecting and making forever memories with my family. The staff were all so lovely, attentive, and discreet, allowing for us to feel a certain amount of freedom without feeling too supervised. I can't recommend this place enough for a group of friends, family, or even a solo or couples adventure.

If you're looking for a quiet getaway and like the mountains, this is a good option. My room was very comfortable. I loved the big shower and soaps in my 1st floor pool house room. I heard people in the hallway and upstairs but it was quieter than other hotels. The fireplace outside was cozy. Gym had just what I needed including a nice view. I felt safe here. The staff was great! So friendly. Get the hot chocolate - I could not stop drinking it. If you like a deserted location, then you'll like this location. Not much around unless you drive 15 minutes. But there is dining on-site which was yummy. No fridge in the room however if you planned on bringing perishables. 15 Upper Main St, Callicoon, NY 12723 is a cute little area. Check out the breweries. I stayed here two nights for a little reading getaway and that was plenty for relaxation and recovery. I also enjoyed reading on the couches in the lobby/cafe area.

Thought it a little crazy to charge 20% gratuity per person for “large group” when it was for self serve buffet and two of the party members were under 3 years old. $400 for cold bacon, eggs, and mini muffins. ?

So happy I chose to stay here for my weekend away! They have an abundance of chic amenities (free smores!) and everything we ate at their onsite restaurant was delish! There's so much to do on the 23 acre property (games, ping pong, sauna, pool) but is also the perfect location for nearby thrifting and hiking trails! To top it off the staff was hospitable and the beds were comfy!!
