While other pharmacies in the area often seem understaffed, hannaford is always timely and helpful, especially Parul! She is an absolute pleasure to work with and is willing to answer any questions regarding medication.

Had a really wonderful experience! Everyone was super nice and accommodating! They respected my request to be called by my real name instead of my dead name and offered to comp a treat for me after a mixup caused us to cancel our appointment ☺️

Updating this review. After the merger with Ahold, Hannaford has progressively gone downhill. Too many empty shelves, products not restocked in a timely manner. I cannot blame the staff, the blame goes to corporate. At times, the stores looks like it was at the beginning of the pandemic, 18 months ago. Therefore there is no excuse that this still persists.

Generally love love love this store! Super nice folks, open and clean. I went shopping today (during COVID-19) and was dismayed by the amount of customers not wearing masks, I guess it's not mandatory for this store. In the beginning of the pandemic they seemed more cautious and in control. I think I'll shop elsewhere where I know they are taking this as serious as it is, until it's all over (if it ever is). Might I also add, this breaks my heart because I really do love this store.

Love that Hannaford Cairo works with local farmers, and has a large selection of organic products, but it is super frustrating that they keep changing brands, and stop carrying others. In the last year they have stopped carrying Once Again Organic Peanut Butter, Brown Cow Yogurt, Belgioiosi parmesean snacking cheeses. This is not only my local market, but the center of the community and it is becoming more and more challenging to shop here when I need to go elsewhere to get the brands I love. The replacements do not come close in quality. The other thing is that there is high turnover of staff. As the center of the community, consistency and relationships are critical.

I find the selection in this store very inadequate. In fact most grocery stores in n small semi-rural communities suffer from this. An example of this is cheese sold on the so-called "gourmet" cheese department. I'd like more than cheddar, feta, Parmesan and other mundane cheeses. This is the major reason I travel 30 miles south where selection is excellent. However I give this store kudos on their employees. They are very helpful and friendly.

I was very excited to shop here. What was good: I found there store clean and their selection good. What was tolerable: The prices are higher than the surrounding grocery stores. What was REALLY horrible: The customers service was the WORST to the point I will not return here. The cashier did not make eye contact with me or greet me. She did not give me any information about their saving card and mumbled when asking for this card. She then yelled at me when I asked her to repeat herself. She then proceeded to stand there as I packed my own groceries. She never apologized, or said please, thank you or goodbye. Customer service is the most important part of retail. This is a no brainer. People please be kind or find a job that you don't have to interact with the public.

This is an excellent supermarket. We came in to get a few items and were really impressed by the produce and meat selections. The lighting is excellent and the store is really clean and new. We were assisted by a young man named Sean who assisted us at the elf check out. He was so friendly and upbeat. Will definitely be back next time we re in the area.

This management at this below-par supermarket is so full of themselves. They try to convince shoppers that they care about their health, the environment, local sourcing, etc, but many of us have found this to be nothing but an empty marketing gimmick. The deli in this Hannaford's location is where you'll find some of the nastiest employees! They are rude, abrupt, and clearly unhappy to be working there. Any complaints to the management will go unheeded, as the same angry mob is allowed to remain working there, abusing customers at will. Their meat section here routinely contains packages that are outdated, and their seafood section stinks - literally! The produce manager is clueless when asked about certain varieties of fruits and vegetables, so don't even waste your time asking him anything. And the cashiers - forget about it! You're better off using the self-checkout than dealing with their sour attitudes! There's one in particular - a short, obese, confrontational woman who seems to think she owns the store! Folks have made numerous complaints about her to management, which have all fallen on deaf ears. I wonder why. Don't waste your time or money in this crummy market.
