I have a cheap pre-pay cell phone plan. After my wife sat on the phone, Verizon took the time to set up the new phone with everything from the old phone as a free service.

What an awful experience I had at this store just yesterday. The gentleman (I am being extremely kind by calling him that, as there are other words that would fit him much better) was extremely rude and condescending to me for no reason whatsoever. Due to the fact that this store is a retailer and not an authorized dealer, I drove out there, to take care of my bill as I had been having issues paying by use of the app, and by phone. This "gentleman" was behind the desk on his tablet, and looked up at me as if I was being an inconvenience to him. I told him I would like to pay my bill. It was clear to me that he didn't want to be bothered. "He said why don't you pay it via the app or by phone?" I explained that I was having issues with the app as well as my phone. He finally showed me the machine and told me I could use this to pay, which I did. I was also having an issues getting my phone to work, but since he did not want to help, I waited 10 minutes for another employee to help me. Given the fact that I pay Verizon a lot of money, and I don't deserve to be treated like this, I am going to switch to another carrier.

My review is on behalf of a very dear friend who just had a devastating house fire and is now living out of a hotel. I wish giving zero stars was an option. I am so incredibly disgusted by their experience. #verizon you should be ashamed of yourself and the employees at the Niagara Falls Blvd store in Buffalo NY should be required to take a human decency training or better yet be fired. When someone comes to you with a devastating story they just experienced commission and upselling should be the last thing on your mind. Below is the recap of their horrible experience... I went to the #Verizon store on Niagra Falls Blvd in Buffalo to request a home service internet box so that I could have private/reliable internet. I explained that my house was in a fire and I lived in a hotel. They advised me that the device I requested wouldn't work in a hotel and upsold me on a jetpack. They didn't tell me that once I opened the device, I would be charged a re-stocking fee if I returned it. Whereas the device I specifically asked for does not carry a restocking fee. So, if I took the device I had asked for and it didn't work I could have brought it back hassle-free. Instead, I go back to the hotel with the jetpack open it up and start charging it per the instructions of the store. I explain to my brother what happened and he immediately is questioning how that makes any sense and calls Verizon and they advise him the home internet device should work in a hotel unlike what they told me in the store. So, he orders the home device and I go to the same store to pick it up and explain that they informed me incorrectly and attempted to return the jetpack. They then tell me about the re-stocking fee which I called BS on b/c I specifically asked for another device and was sold one I didn't need b/c I was in a vulnerable situation. They told me there was nothing they could do and again advised that they didn't think the home internet would work at a hotel and told me to go back with both devices and test it out and then come back and return the one I didn't need. So, I go to the hotel and my brother sets up the new device and what do you know - it works. I go BACK to Verizon for the 3rd time and tried to return the device and they refused to drop the restocking fee or refund me for the one month of service and refunded me $36.99 out of a $116.98 bill. Obviously extremely upset I questioned why they wouldn't return the full refund when I specifically asked for another device and was sold one I didn't need and they told me to call customer service and get a credit on my bill.

Are you kidding me Verizon? We pay your high rates all year long. Then, we sit down to watch one of the biggest bills games of the year, in our return to the Super Bowl season and you decide to create an issue with Nexstar! Couldn't this wait until Monday? Couldn't you run off the other ridiculous channels and let us have CBS? Unvelievable!! Which way is is it to Spectrum, I'm on my way! Actually, I long for the Day s when we had 4 or 5 channels and that was it. No huge cable bills, with companies who play games, with their audience.

Worst customer service ever. Went with elderly mom to get new phone and they wanted her to set up phone on her own at home with a set of instructions they gave her. We tried to set up but couldn't get service. The employee switched this and turned on that.. ok all set. We left and tried to make a call and phone stated call failed. Tried to call someone else and stated call failed again. After 5 trips to the store someone pushed the correct button . They make customers feel like complete idiots because they don't know every function of their phone.

I consistently get amazing service here. The most recent time, Andrew was incredibly patient with my technologically challenged mother. He tried really hard to answer her questions in a way she could understand and stayed a few minutes after closing to finish up what he was doing for her and answered my questions about my current plan too while helping her. He was honest in his recommendations in what we needed and saved us money.

Came here to swap out my phone (called ahead) and they wouldn't let me because I didn't have a physical ID. In the age where you can go through airport security without a wallet using photo ID, you need a physical ID at this Verizon store as a proof of identity. So, I go to another Verizon store and they do it no problem. Don't recommend this store.
