“WOW is all I can say. From start to finish, we knew we were in good hands. From the moment we stepped into the Avanti I knew I wanted to get married there! We felt confident that the team would help us create the most beautiful day…and they did just that. If you are lucky enough to have Raquel as your wedding coordinator, you will be in the best hands! We are eternally grateful to her for making both our planning process and day of SO perfect at the Avanti. Our day would not have been possible without her.
We went into the wedding day with so much ease because we KNEW everything was taken care of. That is a huge testament to the entire team including the servers, bartenders, culinary team, and truly just every single individual who helped out for our day. Our guests have been RAVING about the venue itself and how gorgeous the property is. But big conversation has been the FOOD - many have said 'best wedding food ever', 'we cannot believe how large the portions were', 'can you get a recipe for those potato skins' and the list goes on and on! That is exactly what we wanted...good food, good drinks, and a beautiful day and venue. We are so lucky that we had that. We would pick the Avanti over and over again! Thank YOU all for the best day ever!

341 Delaware Ave, Buffalo“Absolutely love seeing concerts at Babeville. The acoustics are absolutely amazing. I also love that the band performs on a raised stage platform - it makes for great sight lines in the entire venue. They are also very accommodating in advance for wheelchair users and/or disabled patrons and they share clear information in their confirmation emails describing access.”

44 Prime St, Buffalo“Had a fabulous time Ice skating @ Canalside. Rentals were $5 per person. Admission is $8. Lockers $1.Pros: beautiful landscape.Friendly people willing to give out free lessons.Cons: they were out of many sizes of skates due to the demand of people coming in. Skates were hit or miss. Some were good condition, some were completely mangled.Long waits for rentals (so bring your own!!)Parking is sparse unless you are okay with paying ($5-$20).Overall, I would come again. Probably not on the weekend since parking is tricky & the crowding on the ice makes it hard to find your rhythm.”

745 Seneca St, Buffalo“Food trucks Tuesdays are always fun nights. Take your pick of food trucks, great music (last night, the Stress Dolls), and ice-cold beer. FYI, if you go later, bring a chair.”
“Witching Hour MarketRhiannon Needham & Alisha LezamaIt was an absolute pleasure working with Lisa and the team at The Show @ Shea’s Seneca. The Show is primarily booked for weddings, galas, and fundraiser events of the same nature. We were so grateful that Lisa was willing to take a chance and book us as an alternative to her usual events. The venue is beautiful in its natural architecture, but also very clean & welcoming to our guests/vendors.The staff was gracious and happy to serve our clients & answer questions. Our guests had raving reviews about the bartenders, their service, & their drinks!Lisa went the extra mile for us & even customized the marquee for our event. We highly recommend booking with The Show for your special day & private events! It is a stunning backdrop for any memorable occasion.”
“This Edwardian building has some fabulous architecture, and now houses the Ukrainian Cultural Center. We stopped in for some food (the proceeds going to the Ukrainian support the Ukrainian people during the war), and got to see the bar area with it's vaulted ceilings. The bar is staffed entirely by volunteers, and has a neat selection of Ukrainian beers. The food was also made by volunteers, and we needed a translator to order! Everything was great, and the people were all welcoming. While the area isn't the greatest, they do have a parking lot on the east side of the building which can get packed, but offers fenced off-street parking.”
“It was a pleasure to visit the Buffalo Home show at the Buffalo Convention center. The ease of navigating through the center was great. The Convention center exterior looks great as well.”

79 W Chippewa St, Buffalo“This place is amazing. Great food and service. Dueling Pianos was a little disappointing and not exactly a duel, just good music. They should modify it into what is a conventional dueling piano experience.”
“Great music, Live bands , great service and cheap drinks. Always open to the public. Workers are volunteers and are always working hard to please you. Stop in and have some fun!”

1738 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo“I had my wedding here on 2/24/24 and could not have asked for a better experience. The venue was gorgeous and the staff was phenomenal. Everything ran smoothly and was laid out exactly how I wanted. Dan is the best coordinator I could ever want. He made sure everything went off without a hitch while staying behind the scenes!”
“Had to stand outside a very long time to enter the building to play bingo. But when we finally got in, we had a very fun time with the family. There’s a small snack bar. I think the pizza was from Mr Pizza, popcorn was very good just like the movies and they also had alcohol for over 21yrs and pop and water for everyone else.Parking was a little hard.”
“Honeymoon Suite concert on 9/30.Advise you to arrive early to get better parking (since no onsite lots are available).PITT system was great. Sound was a little muddled though. Not sure how it was in the back.Overall a good experience, BUT be forewarned, the Men's restroom is downstairs AND it has NO TOILET (only 3 urinals). Not sure how they pull that off?”

1738 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo“We attended a wedding here and it was very good. It's an amazing space. The food was good, but the service was slow. For a 5pm wedding, the last tables were being served at 7:50pm. At that point some of the entrees had been sitting for a bit. Though at 24 tables, it was a very large service.”

500 Pearl St, Buffalo“I was at Aloft Buffalo Downtown for Roswell's Cancerchella. The hotel was very accommodating, fun, and very comfortable. Their bowling alley was a lot of fun and the XYZBar had great drinks and was very comfortable to socialize in. It gets very busy Friday and Saturday nights with the rooftop bar judging by the line of people waiting for the elevator up. The staff did well to work around some of the rude and pushy customers. I highly recommend staying at this hotel for a nice visit in downtown Buffalo!Rooms: The rooms are fun, trendy, and in my opinion a little nicer than your average affordable hotel. My room was on the 12th floor and had a beautiful view of Buffalo and Lake Erie. The bathrooms and showers were nice and spacious. There wasn't really much for a dresser but instead a place to put your luggage with a couple of small drawers underneath. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quiet at night. There was also a small table and some seating in the room.Safety: I felt pretty safe at this hotel. You need card key access to get to the hotel floors via elevator. However when I left my room this morning someone had attempted to tamper with the card reader to my door, and the cover was off of it and laying on the ground. My door was deadbolt though so I didn't have to worry about someone breaking in. A few other doors had this happen to on our floor, so i just notified front staff when I checked out. There was ample security in the lobby and the bars, and I felt completely safe during my stay!Walkability: This hotel is very walkable where it's located in downtown buffalo. There are plenty of things to do within walking distance, including the theatre district.Food & drinks: The food catered for our Cancerchella event was fantastic! The drinks at any of the bars were delicious and typical pricing.”

“We love the BPO Pops series but are exhausted with the stress of parking! We have gone 1.5 hrs early and done the shuttle but in the cold you may have to wait quite sone time! We have enjoyed many family events and don't want to do the dinner! I guess we are just going to bow out as we age! Unfortunately, we wanted to have our grandkids to more events!”
