O.k. I've never been to this post office personally but, I sent a package to someone who lives in this area. #1 the priority package took TEN days to get there. when my son received the package, it was OPENED and the contents which included two gift cards worth 50.00 each, a package of travel toothpaste tablets, blessed rosary beads, a birthday card and his social security card. NOW, the MOST upsetting, disappointing and SCARY thing is the fact that his social security number may have been COMPROMISED! I tried contacting the post office directly and each time they hang up the phone. I contacted the postal inspectors and was told to file a claim. O,K, what does this do for my BELIEF in the INTEGRITY of the USPS? OR the compromise of my sons social security number? As someone who is very familiar with the SOP of the USPS, the package tracking details do not indicate any damage to the package upon arrival at the postal unit. Nor, does it bear the scans of damage at ANYTIME during its travel. YET, the package was delivered in a "sorry your item was damaged" bag. So, my question is HOW did the sides of the package get cut open, the birthday card opened, and the gift cards taken out? Let me not forget, I guess the person responsible for helping themselves to these items, suddenly found their moral compass and left the rosary beads. They also wouldn't have known what the package containing the toothpaste tabs were so, that was a SURPRISE gift for them! We all know that the dentist ain't cheap so, I HOPE that helps you sir or mam or whatever pronoun you choose to use.
Now, it is up to ME. The VICTIM, to file claims and contacting the gift card companies as per the customer service rep. who took my call and said they were refer my case to the postal inspectors. I called this Monday. Haven't heard a word from anyone to date.
Sincerely,
Never More Dissapointed in the Quality of the USPS

I am so surprised to see many negative posts about this post office. I have never had a bad experience there. I actually choose to go to the Hertel post office even though it is farther from my home. It is busy at times but the employees move customers through quickly.

Had a 230 appt, was there early. A woman peed in the middle of the floor and the building manager took more than 10 minutes to handle it, letting people walk through the pee. When I pointed this out he got rude to me and waived me off. While waiting my child had to pee. When we came back in he said I was too late for my appt, it was 244, he said we were 20 minutes late and he had been calling our name at 240, so apparently 240 would have been fine but 244 was too late.I support the idea of the post office, but no private entity would have treated its customers this way. This high-handed treatment from untouchable bureaucrats is exactly why the people are going to continue to let legislators defund institutions like the post office.

Just had another bad experience with the delivery of our mail. For the last several years a lot of days mail is delivered to either the wrong house on our street or even the wrong street. After our mail is delived lots of nights the neighbors gather and redistribute the mail to the correct house or the proper street. Today 8/16/23 I heard screaming outside. It was a mail delivery person on the phone screaming to his, I assume, girlfriend about her having a 45 yr old body but the mind of a 20 yr old. Talk about unprofessional. Once he got back in his truck he was REALLY screaming at her. Perhaps if he wasn't distracted by his phone he could stay better focussed on his job.

The lady with the red short hair was the hardest worker every, however the management and other staff failed to assist when she called for backup when the line was out the door. Companies are so worried about employee retention and they are running the hard working employees down. This is sickening what they did to her.

I was notified that the mail carrier would not do stairs any longer. After countless attempts to resolve and multiple visits to the post office where I was told there was no issue, they would speak to the carrier and my mail service would resume, I am still experiencing disruptions in delivery.

Very poor service when I have issues with packages and delivery. Some of the workers are rude and other workers are nice. Delivery is inconsistent at best and has been late an above average amount of times. I prefer other shipping venues because of the stuff I have faced with the postal service. Otherwise I have to be patient with the unstellar service I have faced with this shipping venue. Hope they hire more diligent workers. The normal mail person in my neighborhood is a good worker though. Hope she continues to deliver my mail so well.

The two women I encountered were lovely and the rest of this does not pertain to them. The two gentlemen that "assisted" me were super rude when I didn't have my mailings exactly right at the SERVICE window. I don't speak USPS bureaucracy fluently, and all of their products have similar sounding arbitrary names. These guys are in the wrong line of work. I understand it's busy, and can be stressful; still unreasonable. I was forced to go through the line 4 times rather than actually receive service to resolve my small issue.

Roomy building with 24-hour access, computerized kiosk and access to large mail drop receptacle. Available from 8 o'clock a m. to 4 o'clock p.m. to the left are large quantities of package and parcel mailing supplies and a copier. The staff at the service counter is welcoming and efficient though there are times when a line can form which can delay service speed.
