“Great little spot with very friendly staff. Extremely queer-friendly and supportive.*Needed a last-minute dress for a dinner event and the staff was very encouraging with the option that I found. Especially the employee (or friend outside) was extremely encouraging and positive - definitely one of the best shopping experiences I've had.*The store has a pretty wide range of vintage clothing, and I felt that everything was pretty reasonable for vintage clothing. I found a $30 vintage dress in pretty good shape (which I felt was a pretty good deal).*There's ample free parking on Auburn Ave.”

“I recently took a trip to Buffalo and I wanted to surprise my boyfriend by taking him to a few really neat vintage shops I had come across. He’s from Buffalo born and raised and a HUGE Buffalo Bills fan. This store did not disappoint at all. Speaking to the owners of the shop who were so kind- they said they had recently done a whole renovation of the store which really shows.the store itself is really spacious and the curation of clothes was awesome. They have a wide range of Bills, Sabers and other really neat teams/brands in their racks of clothing. I got my first piece of Bills merchandise for myself along with a few other cool sweaters/shirts. I even placed an order from their online store the next day because I found the jacket I was looking for in my size!!All in all this will be a staple store I come to whenever I’m in town. Thank you all so much for such a wonderful experience and kindness!SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES!! :)”

“Great place for vintage pieces of furniture, hardware and any other hard to find items from the past. Doorknobs, hinges, frames, farm sinks, kit hen cabinets. Need doors? Pocket doors, french doors, exterior mahogany doors, they've got them. I was looking for an old door to use on my pantry and found it here. Ian McDonald and Kevin Hayes were wonderful. Both men couldn't be more helpful and knowledgeable in their field of architectural salvage. No matter which piece you asked about they knew it's history and where its origin. Make use you visit them! Carol”

“Supper cute consignment shop with lots of good finds for everyone, great vintage selection and had everything from cow boy boots and necklaces, to super cute jeans and vests. Staff was really pleasant and helpful. Everything seemed very cleaned and well taken care of. Slightly hidden from street view you got to go down a drive way to get to it but don't give up it's a great find!!”

“I'm a West Coast girl who loves eclectic clothing from different generations. That makes me a vintage clothing maven. Nothing is more fun than filing through racks and racks of vintage apparel, and there's shortage of it at this Amvets. Loved it.”

“Helpful staff. Not so helpful rothco gear if you want something new and specific. Plenty of cool items. Just don't buy anything rothco besides simple clothes. it's a terrible brand, but it's cheap. Hopefully they can at least get with vertx and tru-spec for better new stuff and uniforms. Tactical tailor and Blackhawk, if we're lucky. Plenty of other options in store. Go visit!”
