I liked the folks at Towne and the work they did until the last time I took my wife's car in for an oil change. It turns out that for whatever reason they didn't change the oil, it was as dirty as it was when I dropped it off, dark brown. I took it back to complain and they said it's an old car, what do you expect. I then changed the oil and filter myself and the oil on the dipstick is now clear like it should be after a fresh oil change. I should know as I've been changing oil and filters on my and my wife's cars for 50 years. The one time I entrust someone else to change the oil and filter on a car and I get shafted. In the end, YOU CAN'T TRUST TOWNE TO DO WHAT YOU REQUEST AND PAY THEM TO DO.

Straightforward, organized, fair prices, and very honest with me. Now my go to mechanic. I went in for transmission, coolant, and radiator issues and then a full check up.

They have guided me in all the right places with my car. And gave me honest feedback, which is very refreshing considering I’ve been to other places and was lied too and spent more money than I needed too. These guys are loyal with their work and words and I will forever be a loyal customer to them. They care and it shows not just about your car but about you and your situation. Thanks again! Towne Motor Car is fantastic. My family has taken all of our cars here for 15+ years. They are honest and do excellent work. Chris is terrific and always asks how everyone in our family is doing. We lived in the city for years and recently moved to Williamsville, but we still take our cars here and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Our car’s been making weird noises when accelerating, it did NOT sound normal. When we took the car to this shop, they told us it was nothing. According to them it was a “power steering fluid” issue that’s not that important. I’m happy we trusted our gut (the sound got so much worse, it most certainly did not sound normal). We took our car to the other shop and it came out to be a serious issue with the tire and it was actually dangerous to even drive the car. Always get a second opinion, if you think something is wrong with the vehicle, trust your gut. We liked the service at this shop except for this situation.Services: Vehicle Inspection
