I don't come to this location very much, but I can tell it has come a long way. This store is on the smaller side compared to the other Tops locations. Depending on the time of day, you can find yourself shoulder to shoulder with other customers. It's especially crowded on the busy days around the cash register area. As much traffic this location gets, they still keep the place very clean.

This place gives more attitude, everyone that works there seems miserable, customer service is the worse at this Tops on Jefferson. From cashier to security gaurd to people behind the deli and people behind the customer service area. Every other Tops i been too i never experience this until i moved over here. I rather drive out my way to another Tops then go to this one. Need someone to clean up the people who work there with people who love there job. The Manager is the only one who gives you great service. He was helpful when he is around. This place doesnt really deserve and stars. Juat the Manager so one star is all it gets.

This store is quite possibly the worst Tops that I've encountered in the Buffalo, NY area. The employees are rude and the place is locked down like a prison. I felt like a criminal the entire time. In addition, I forgot an item after checking out at the register and was stopped by a man in all black (no Identification) and said that he had to "hold my bags". I told him no and was told that I could not purchase my additional item. The atmosphere of this location is not helping the reputation of the neighborhood, which is in desperate need of a turn-around its crime laden, unfriendly reputation.

Yeah, no. That's my 1st reaction. 1st of all, Tops has a bad wrap already. The prices are very high, the food is not the freshest, and the stores are not known to be up-kept. But then to make matters worse, this location is not the best. I won't lie the convenience of the location is nice, but it tells you something if I'd travel 20 more miles to go to a store that I actually like to shop at. I know one thing, Tops better get it together!

This has got to be the worst Tops location in the buffalo area, even the Tops on Broadway is better. Let's start with the customer service, horrible. Please do not expect to ever be greeted by anyone while in this store, everyone in the customer service business is way to busy to service any customers. The cashiers can be found reading or at other registrars talking or at their own registrars talking to one another while cashing out customers. I always felt that they were there to speak to you and make sure you found what you were looking for, not in this store. And it doesn't stop there the person who is in charge, a heavy set black lady is just as rude. There are never enough registrars open so you have to wait in line, I stood there one day for app. 10 minutes to cash out 3 items when a young man walks up and stand 2 people behind me the manager/person in charge speaks to him as if they are family or at least know one another and she tells him to follow her. She takes him to the pharmacy to cash out, he had at least 10-15 items in his basket. And the bakery here is a travesty and just should not operate. I've had two bad experiences the wrost being when the Baker called off, no one made the donuts. The case at 9am was totally empty and that was just it, there were no donuts for that day. This latest was I went to once again buy donuts and the display case was dark although there were app. 15 donuts spread out over app. 10 trays I asked a passing working if the donuts were fresh he said yes so I asked why the case was dark. He went over to turn on the light and when he opened the door a large amount (5 or6) tiny flies flew out. He informed that the light was blown or broken. That was my cue although I live 5 minutes away I drove 20 minutes to Tops on niagara where everything was the exact opposite. That's sad when your forced to take your dollars outside of your neighborhood

Do you know how questionable it is to for your debit card transaction to not go through because the cashier simply assumes that your purchase will be made with SNAP funds - when you've never pulled out a SNAP card to pay for groceries there? Wow. I wonder if that was why I wasn't greeted. #evolve #buffalame
