The Manager or maybe i’m pretty sure she is a SUPERVISOR, Treated me like a Criminal as if i was stealing from the store, because i was taking a while shopping, when I finally came up to pay, the total came out to be more than what I expected so I politely asked for them to remove some items and before I can even hand her the items she starts, snatching them out of my cart as if I planned on taking them, I noticed while I was shopping that a worker was following me throughout the store and then I noticed a couple other employees started following me throughout the store. I’m not trying to pull that card, but I’m just going to call it for what it is I am a Hispanic female in a Caucasian neighborhood A brief description of the supervisor she is about 54 she is a little heavy set short blondish white hair and she works at the one on Elmwood in Buffalo, New York!! If they suspected that I was stealing then why not ask to see what’s in my bag or show me some evidence before treating me like trash

The staff we spoke with when setting up our daughter's prescriptions were professional, friendly, and courteous. However, their system is archaic. Unfortunately, schedules don't always align with the pharmacy hours. Prescriptions needed to be called in and you need to actually speak to someone. There is not an automated system where you can dial in your request. I was told by a night shift worker who answered the phone (strange that the pharmacy phone was answered by a non-pharmacy member) that I could FAX in the request, but most people don't have a fax (that I am aware of). This pharmacy, as nice as the people are, is not as convenient as we had hoped. (The 3 stars is for the staff! Definitely not for the system they have for their patients to use. That would be a zero star.)

They have a lot of grocery items on the shelves that are different from other stores. That's one plus. And I like their Italian sausage and bulk sausage rolls, reminds me of childhood. Otherwise, avoid. People complain about their more upscale competitors being expensive - but Tops is no different. Plus their fresh meat and fish is legitimately the worst of all grocers in the area. Had a few experiences that stick out. 1. Went to refill my propane. The cashier said someone will be right out. So I went out to my car and brought the empty tank to the tank depot. No one came out. Went back in the store and the cashier said she forgot and that I should chill out. She wasn't nice about it. Total waste of time. 2. Brought back a bag of rotten avocados with receipt, didn't have same item to exchange in stock, so I didn't get refund because it "looked like I damaged them". The customer service person seemed happy to deny me. I am pretty sure they pay non-livable wages and the people that work there just aren't nice or helpful. I also feel like you're more likely to get COVID there. A lot of sick people who don't wear masks shop there. It is what it is. On the whole, don't go to Tops unless you have to. Pretty much every grocer, butcher or market in the area is better.

I had a frustrating experience at this business. I and my wife used the Self checkout lane to checkout and it malfunctioned on each of the 8 items I checked out. It took longer than 3 people going through the normal check out with full carts. I'm also staggered by the lack of helpfulness that I found with this Stores staff. When I started to experience issues with the Self Checkout, I tried to get the attention of the attendant on duty and was further frustrated with the fact the attendant went from looking at her phone, to staring down and not paying attention to the customers in her area. With so many grocery options out there nowadays it blows my mind that any business would be ok with apathy from it's employees.

Filthy store management is a joke you see workers walking around without their mask covering their nose they allow customers to walk in without wearing mask you ask him about it and then he just tell you if you don't like it leave

The remodel is nice, and the store is clean and well stocked, but the employees all act like they're totally depressed. They're not mean, just a bunch of zombies going through the motions. What's up with that?

I just waited in a line at customer service for about 25 minutes. There was originally two girls then one left, leaving one girl by herself. after awhile another employee came to save the day. He got the line moving again. Not happy with this! Very poor service. But not the cashiers fault.

Typical Tops supermarket nothing fancy. The place is neat and clean, produce and meats department well maintained. Tops is no longer that much cheaper than Wegmans. But shopping at Tops feels more industrial than Wegmans. Plus whenever I come here, they never have enough checkout lanes open.

Where to even start with this location? They have a very diverse variety of food here, from fresh to canned, you're almost guaranteed to find it here. The staff is very friendly and I find myself frequently having conversations with them. They do a great job at keeping it stocked and clean, especially considering the foot traffic. Huge bonus points go to them for being open 24/7, that is a very important perk to me. They have a pretty good selection on single bottles for beers if you want to try a specific one before buying a 6-pack. They also have a lot of great seasonal beers in there at all times.

I like the Tops on Elmwood, because they have better produce & their cold cuts are fresher & they have a bigger selection. A lot of their items are a bit much, but if you really need it,it's there. I also like this location because it's open 24/7. If I get a craving for something in the miss doe of the night,I can just go down the street & get it. I usually use the self checkouts, because the lines aren't as long, but,I constantly have problems there. It always says I didn't put an item in the bag,or something to drive me nuts. Lol Today,I went to a cashier & she wasn't very pleasant. In fact,Everytime I go to a cashier, they're not very nice. The one guy, makes me pack most of my own bags, he won't put my 12 packs of pop in the cart,I have to do it,in fact,he doesn't put anything in my cart. He has done that 2ce to me. Anyways,as far as items go,they have big selections of almost everything I'm looking for. Today, they had everything I wanted & it was all on sale. Yaaaayyy me

I've shopped here a number of times. Mostly because I was already in the area for Home Depot or Target. This Tops is large and has a large parking lot. I prefer the Tops on Grant because it's parking lot is safer. However this Tops is fine in a pinch and for staples like sugar or other dried goods or icecream type things. And full fat Greek yogurt, which I buy for lemon bundt cakes. I haven't come at busy times so haven't had checkout issues. 3 stars - A-OK. 2627

Tops is not always my first choice for grocery shopping, but it's super close to my house. The staff is hit or miss; they are helpful and friendly or rude and unknowledgeable. Everything is easy to find in the typical Tops store layout. I love their bonus member specials. I managed to find buy 2 get 3 free on 12 pack cans of Coca Cola products, 2 for $5 on my favorite feta cheese, and buy 2 get 3 free on Doritos products!
