On August 1, 2024 I called This Wonderful Gentlemen's store a inquiring & attempting to explain that I was in desperate need of a Handle repair on a very sentimental piece of luggage that I didn't want to part with. He told me to bring it in for him to see & like a couple of other people told me it couldn't be repaired. ☹️ As he seen the disappointment in me, instantly a lightbulb idea came to him & just like that His OBVIOUS Skills kicked in & Miraculously he REPAIRED my luggage & on top of that REFUSED to charge me because he said he didn't want to guarantee that the handle would last. NEWSFLASH: I'm happy to say that not only has it lasted but it's been on 2 other trips since then. ???? I Am extremely Grateful & not since the Cobbler in the Basement of AM& A's as a child have I seen or was Aware of such Talent . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANY & ALL MY family, friends, & others to support this Kind Gentleman & his Business you Won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience! Very satisfied with the repair I had done as well as the attention to detail on the retail side of the shop. I was a bit skeptical of the size recommendation for this boot being very different from my usual size, but after 2 days of wearing the boot, my feet feel at home! Highly recommend buying high quality footwear with the help of an expert like Brian instead of buying online and receiving a size you don't fit into.

So very happy with the service. I had a pair of wolverine 1000 mile boots and a pair of wingtip shoes repaired. The price to have the work done was slightly more than I expected but once I picked up the shoes I felt that I got more than what I paid for. By far the best job on a pair of shoes that I have ever had. I would definitely recommend Sole Man for all your shoe repairs.

I went in there not planning on buying new shoes but now I'm the proud owner of a pair of Grant Stones and I'm not looking back. In fact, I can't wait for my Clarks to crap out so I can go back. The owner is personal and knowledgeable. I'm a customer for life. Also they were expensive but well worth it.

My experiences with Brian have been nothing short of amazing. He knows about footwear and the qualities that matters in a shoe, from the shoe's design to each part of the shoe. I was impressed by his attention to detail and ability to clearly explain to me how he would widen my shoes. He was also personable, friendly, and dedicated to providing high quality service! I very much recommend coming to his shop to get your shoes fixed and engage in worthwhile conversation!

I called sole man about fixing a pair of cowboy boots that I just hated. The sole was too thick the heel was too large and chunky, this man took the boots I hated and went above and beyond. He took down the sole and filled it with a much better material. He also took down the heel perfectly. It’s legitimately a whole new boot. It’s everything I could have asked for. This man went above and beyond and I can’t recommend him enough. 100/10

I’ve been relying on Sole Man since moving back to Buffalo in 2018. The quality of his work is outstanding, his repairs stand the test of use and he is super up front about what he can do as well as what he can’t. In a world where vendors increasingly don’t care too much about quality and the value of things is more about what folks are willing to pay for it than the work and skill and materials put into the thing Brian stands out. I’d never take my stuff anywhere else! ♡
