These guys are truly professionals and figured out what was wrong with my bike quickly and did not overcharge me.I had a terrible experience at Bert’s Bikes on NFB where I was given the runaround for weeks wasting a ton of time and money on unnecessary parts and labor.Brian at Shickluna was able to honestly assess, diagnose, and repair several troubling sounds coming from the bike. It became extremely obvious that the staff at this shop really know what they are doing and the staff at Berts did not.I was astonished by how honest Brian was about what my bike needed (and didn’t) - he never tried to sell me anything at all.Don't waste your time or money going anywhere else for service on your bike.

They are the best. Moose spent quality time showing me how to use the new bike rack we purchased and Frank and I appreciate the time put in by Moose and Chris so much!!!

I've visited there several times, as a walk in. They are always gracious and take the time to address your needs. Love it, go nowhere else!

Just like a mechanic, if you don't know exactly what problem you want fixed you're gonna get ripped off. I understand they're trying to make their bag, but for those who are new you're better off going to a community workshop that will respect your wallet. Their tune-up should've been called a diagnostic... ended up paying 70 for new grease and advice.

For as much crabbing as I do about people these days, I have to give credit where credit is due! I took my bike to Shickluna Bike shop today expecting to get new shifters, new brakes and likely some other work done cuz I got the bike cheap and it was a mess. they certainly could have charged me for all new parts, but a young man there named Chase talk me into a bit of a tune-up, fixed the shifters adjusted the brakes, I did buy a new chain cuz the other one was a little messed up but otherwise that boy got me out of there for $42 which was for the new chain and a bottle of oil, didn't charge me one red Cent for the work that he did when he very well could have charged me three times what the bike is worth. That's a good local company and a great way to do business. Highly recommended!!!

I went to get an old bike fixed. The guys there were super conversational and easy to talk to. They gave me a really great estimate for the costs. And when I went back after the fixes, they explained everything they did and why. Would go there again

Staff truly cares about getting you out riding more than they do simply profiting off of you. Had a great experience with the staff who went above and beyond to ensure I can get out riding.

Absolutely a top-tier bike shop. Oldest shop in Buffalo, and it definitely is able to service any kind of bicycle needs you might have. Carbon roadie? Check. Beat up mountain bike? Check. Sweet vintage bike that you're looking to restore? Check. Fixie you bought online and never put together right? Check. If it has two wheels (or even 3), then save yourself time and bring it to these guys.I've been going to this store for close to ten years now, and they will always take care of you, treat you right, and have you leaving with a bunch of new friends. I could wax poetically about these guys for hours, how incredible they work, the care put into their craft, the tips on shaving legs, but I'll leave it to the readers to experience it all for themselves. The best thing to do is just go inside, and enjoy.Recently renovated, the shop is looking amazing! It's so filled with cycling history, and with willing teachers, that you'll leave with a new appreciation for the beauty of riding a bike. Don't waste anymore time reading reviews, just get over to Shickluna and solve whatever bicycle related conondrum you're in.
